KITA NO ZEN, 1 UTAMA

December 21, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Japanese Fare for the week  and we decided to go to Kita No Zen so she can have salmon fish as well as chawanmushi which is being his her favourite  Kita No Zen, under the same umbrella as Sushi Zanmai is what we are going for the day. It is located at the NEW old wing basement. The restaurant is well furnished with a warmth lightning and we are well served.

We started our meal with the Miso Hotate Ramen which is a great combination of the ramen with the delighting fresh scallops with it. The ramen is well infused with the miso soup together with the springy ramen with it as well
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 19.00

– The Gindara Zen Set-

Gindara Zen is one of the set which we had. The silver cod fish is well grilled and it is then being served with rice, fruits, chawanmushi as well as a bowl of miso soup and some appetizer with it. I love the cod fish which is quite milky texture that comes with it.
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 38.00

Garlic Fried Rice is nothing to shout about as it is just plain and normal.
Taste : 3/5
Price: RM 7.00

How about Teppanyaki Zen which is where we had the diced cut beef steak set. The set which is alike the Gindara Zen where it is being served with rice, fruits, chawanmushi as well as a bowl of miso soup and some appetizer. The beef steak is lovely with the juicy tender texture.
Taste : 4/5
Price: RM 38.00
