TSUKEMEN & IZAKAYA IEYASU @ AVENUE K

TSUKEMEN
Tsukemen & Izakaya IEYASU entrance boasts a traditional Japanese doorstep, ceiling-high bamboo shoots, and punctured partitions set that give patrons an authentic izakaya dining experience. Not just that they do have a Private-room-like seating arrangements, an al-fresco area at the back for smokers. Located at the 3rd floor of the mall, you can get a taste of Japanese delights here.

IEYASU is an izakaya that hails from Ikebukuro, Japan, bringing to Malaysian soil the ramen alternative known as tsukemen. Tsukemen, a type of dipping Ramen where the broth and noodles are served in separate bowls. Ieyasu is actually a chain restaurant and their first outlet is in Japan. Now, they are expended their business to Malaysia.

We started off with their salad- The Ieyasu Original Salad (RM 18.00) . The healthy combination salad comes with the greenies, tomatos and the onsen on top. The appetizing salad is indeed enough to start off our meals of the day.

They served a variety of appetizers and one of them is their Fried Chicken (RM 14). Deep fried till perfection with the light hint of spiciness in it.

The broths are cooked fresh daily for over 8 hours into a thick and dense soup and they have 5 variety of broth to go for. From the Japanese curry, miso, tomato & cheese and sesame and each is priced within the range of RM23 and RM25. For those who wanted to add more topping like the additional onsen egg, chashu, bamboo shoots and seaweed, that will cost you an extra RM11. The soup comes simply flavourful and the portion is kinda a huge one.
