Experience Di Wei Chinese Cuisine Restaurant’s Signature dish- The Peking Duck which is one of the famous dish al over from Beijing that has created the Imperial Era and it is now considered as China’s most recognizable dishes. In Di Wei Restaurant, it is also one of their famous dishes which is not to be missed too.

Enjoying the Crispy Skin which is delicately sliced infront of the diners, the skin is just perfect and juicy as it is. With the wafer thin pancake skin which is wrapped with spring onion, cucumber and Hoisin Sauce, the Peking duck is simply good with the crispy skin and the juiciness in it. The Peking Duck is rather an interesting step where air is pumped into the duck with the separate the skin from the fat. It is then hung up to dry in the cold before being roasted in an oven. While it is hung, the duck is glazed with a layaer of maltose syrup. Having been left to stand for 24 hours, the duck is roated in an oven until it turns shiny brown. Once ready, he chef will removed from the oven and served to us.

The whole duck is available at RM49.90++ with the add on of RM18.00++ for the second dish. You can choose either with the five delicious culinary styles which includes stir fried assorted vegetables, braised spring onions and chillies, wok-braised with bitter gourd and stir fried with black pepper. For us, we had them with the stir fried with assorted vegetables which is a good oene to try off.

Besides having their peking duck, we grab some dim sums too. The steamed three treasure prawn dumpling is indeed a good one to try of during our meals there. The succulent thin skin wrapped around the juicy prawns is just perfect and superb. Sinfully delicious with the ooziness of the sweet flavors from the fresh prawns when we grab a bite of it.
Price: RM 9.00

The next item we had is the Deepfried Twin Egg Roll which is perfectly well done with the crispy texture and the fragrant taste of the egg roll. Superbly good which I could not resist as well. The well prepare ddim sum and enjoying them at lunch is a good match.
Price: RM 9.00

Aside that, Di Wei also comes up with two new desserts. One is the Mango Puree with Crystal Noodles which is sinfully delicious item to try off. The Mango Puree Crystal Noodles are smooth jelly strips that covered with fresh mango topped with strawberry cubes and basil seeds. The mango puree is smooth texture and the desserts is not too sweet with the fragrant of mango.

Another speciality is the Osmanthus with Wolfberries Jelly. The sweet delights is made from aromatic Osmanthus flower that are mixed with Wolfberries and then set in jelly to give a beautiful presentation. Savouring the wonderful desserts is perfectly an indulgence for the weekend itself. The Osmanthus with Wolfberries Jelly brings us with a soothing texture and it’s taste is perfectly a good enjoyment for the day.
