Dessert or Coffee? Kenangan Coffee’s ‘Magical Tiramisu’ Series Says Both!

November 28, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Kenangan Coffee, the fastest growing grab-and-go coffee chain hailing from Indonesia, is thrilled to introduce the Magical Tiramisu beverage series in Malaysia—reimagining the classic tiramisu into a luxurious lineup of handcrafted drinks. The limited time offering aims to delight coffee and chocolate lovers alike.

As Southeast Asia’s first retail F&B Unicorn, Kenangan Coffee aims to redefine the coffee experience by blending innovation with tradition. By transforming a timeless dessert familiar to Malaysians, the brand celebrates Malaysia’s love for sweet treats while offering a unique way to enjoy tiramisu’s rich, layered flavours.

“Malaysia’s coffee culture has grown exponentially over the past decade, with coffee becoming a daily staple for many. As a brand, we are constantly innovating new creations to excite and engage with our customers and we hope with this new Magical Tiramisu series, our customers will have a magical holiday season and a special kenangan (memory) with us. With the Magical Tiramisu series, we’re bringing the best of both worlds to sweeten your day.” said Quennie Tan, Head of Marketing, Kenangan Coffee.

The Magical Tiramisu beverage series includes four decadent new drinks based on the well-loved Italian dessert. Each of them are carefully crafted to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences.

● Tiramisu Latte: For the classic tiramisu lover, the ‘magical’ beverage combines freshly pulled espresso, tiramisu syrup, and Kenangan Coffee’s velvety signature milk. A layer of rich chocolate sauce and decadent salted cream, topped with Belgian cocoa powder, adds a finishing touch.

● Freezy Tiramisu Latte: For those craving a cooler take on tradition, this ice-blended treat features espresso, tiramisu syrup, and chocolate chips, blended with Kenangan Coffee’s signature milk and decadent salted cream. It’s crowned with rich chocolate sauce, vanilla whipped cream, and a sprinkle of Belgian cocoa powder.

● White Tiramisu: A delightful option for those seeking a lighter caffeine experience, this beverage blends tiramisu syrup with Kenangan Coffee’s velvety signature milk. Layers of chocolate sauce and salted cream are topped with a dusting of Belgian cocoa powder for a perfectly balanced finish.

● Freezy White Tiramisu: Offering a refreshing twist, this ice-blended creation combines tiramisu syrup, chocolate chips, and salted cream with Kenangan Coffee’s signature milk—topped with rich chocolate sauce, vanilla whipped cream, and Belgian cocoa powder.

Pair the “Magical Tiramisu” beverages with Kenangan Coffee’s delectable treats for the ultimate experience. The Chocolate Walnut Brownie, with its rich, fudgy texture and crunchy walnut topping, enhances the tiramisu flavours of the drinks, creating a harmonious blend of sweetness and texture. Another option would be the Aren Crème Croissant—a flaky, buttery pastry with Kenangan’s signature caramel-like aren crème filling, making the pairing truly indulgent. Get RM2 off on these treats with a purchase of any handcrafted drinks.

Customers are also in for a treat with the newly-launched Aren Cream Puff, a light and crunchy choux pastry, filled with decadent Kenangan aren cream. The ‘Box of 6’ option is the perfect gift for any home visits, social gatherings or even self-indulgence this year-end holidays!

“By transforming this beloved classic into a beverage series, we’re not just serving drinks! We’re offering a uniquely curated experience that complements our customers’ love for quality coffee and favourite desserts. We invite everyone to make Kenangan Coffee their go-to destination for creating lasting memories, whether it’s catching up with friends or enjoying quality time with loved ones,” added Tan.

Since the start of its expansion in Malaysia back in 2022, Kenangan Coffee now stands with more than 73 outlets nationwide and has gained a strong foothold in Malaysia.
