This lineup revives Oriental ancient healing wisdom in a modern, serene sanctuary, blending intuitive energy work, Qigong mastery, and expert meridian-fascia techniques to nurture mind, body, and spirit.

These residencies underscore YUN WELLNESS’s dedication to curating exceptional, life-changing experiences with global experts, blending ancient wisdom with luxurious serenity. Since its 2023 opening, YUN WELLNESS has become a premier destination for personalized treatments and events that nurture mind, body, and spirit through nature’s restorative power.

“Circulation of Qi” Qigong Workshop with Master Budiman Handjaja

Following high demand from a sold-out March session, Master Budiman Handjaja returns for the “Circulation of Qi” Qigong Workshop from 20 – 27 May 2026. This eight-day intensive combines breathwork, movement, meditation, and visualization to enhance the flow of vital energy (Qi), countering age-related declines and fostering physical, mental, and spiritual harmony. Participants, from beginners to advanced practitioners, can expect benefits like improved focus, reduced anxiety, pain relief, better sleep, and strengthened immunity.

Nutritious, Wellness‑Focused Meals Throughout the 8‑Day Workshop

To support the workshop’s focus on holistic energy and well‑being, participants will enjoy a healthy and nutritious lunch crafted in collaboration with Island Shangri‑La’s Executive Chef, Uwe Opocensky. The menu is designed to complement the practice by promoting better energy flow, recovery, and overall vitality.

The workshop runs for 8 days from 10am to 5pm (including a one-hour lunch break) at the 5/F Tianshan and Lushan Room, Island Shangri-La. Standard fee is HKD 16,800 per person, with an early bird rate of HKD 14,800 available for registrations by April 5, 2026.

Exclusive Energy Healing Sessions with Master Franz

Master Franz Polanen Darmasada, a celebrated intuitive energy healer, will be in residence for personalized Energy Healing and Meridian Therapy sessions. Drawing on ancient techniques to realign the body’s energy flow, these sessions address chronic stress, pain, and emotional imbalances, promoting deep relaxation and renewed vitality. Tailored to individual needs, each experience incorporates targeted pressure points, energy alignment, and a serene rest period, making it ideal for those facing low energy, sleep disturbances, or physical ailments like back pain and joint issues.

What to expect from a 90-minute session with Master Franz

Each 90-minute session is meticulously tailored to the individual, beginning with a gentle consultation where Master Franz engages in an open, empathetic conversation to understand the specific physical, emotional, or energetic challenges you are facing—whether chronic pain, persistent stress, emotional imbalances, low vitality, or sleep disturbances. This is followed by a thorough assessment of your body and mental state, allowing him to intuitively identify energy blockages, imbalances in the meridians, and areas needing attention.

The core treatment then unfolds through his expert, hands-on techniques: targeted pressure point work, gentle energy realignment, and intuitive clearing to dissolve tensions, restore harmonious flow, ease muscular restrictions, and awaken the body’s natural healing responses. The session culminates in a serene 30-minute rest period in a peaceful setting, enabling profound integration, deep relaxation, and emotional release—often leaving guests feeling lighter, more centered, and renewed.

Master Franz’s sessions are available on select dates: April 1–30, 2026; July 1–August 8, 2026; and November 16–December 21, 2026. Priced at HKD 3,200 per 90-minute session, spaces are strictly limited—early booking is highly recommended.

Signature Meridian & Fascia Therapy with Master Eric Lee

Complementing these residencies is the ongoing Meridian & Fascia Therapy by award-winning Master Eric Lee, an acclaimed Massage Therapist and Spa Trainer with 30 years of experience across international 5-star hotels.

This 90-minute treatment harmoniously blends traditional Chinese meridian techniques with expert deep tissue massage and fascial therapy using specialized tools. It enhances circulation, relieves deep-seated muscle tension, unlocks mobility by targeting “knots” and stiffness, accelerates recovery from overuse or sports injuries, reduces pain by calming sensitive nerves, and boosts blood flow through precise press-and-release actions.

Ideal for those with muscle strain from poor posture, repetitive use, or limited flexibility impacting movement and sleep, sessions restore physical balance and profound relaxation.

Available every Friday and Saturday from now until May 1, 2026, at HKD 2,980 per session at YUN WELLNESS.
