Quan’s Kitchen’s “FUIYOH Nostalgia” Weekend Buffet Offers Nostalgic Experiential Dining in Chinatown

October 12, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

All the more reason to look forward to the weekend now. Quan’s Kitchen at the Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown has just launched the all-new FUIYOH Nostalgia weekend buffet!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to bring your family on the weekend, look no further than Quan’s Kitchen. Inspired by the surrounding food institutions and local culinary districts around Chinatown, the experiential dining inspires a sense of nostalgia amongst adults and keep children entertained with all the fun.

Bring your family out over the weekend to check out the traditional games corner, bubble tea station, and nostalgic snacks on top of the irresistible Chinatown-inspired buffet selection.

Start off your culinary journey at the traditional Kopitiam Counter for perfectly-toasted Roti Bakar and Soft Boiled Egg with a glass of Teh Tarik or Kopi O’.

Indulge in mouthwatering nostalgic mains using locally-sourced ingredients including timeless classics such as Roasted Hainanese Chicken, Slow Baked Char Siu Lamb Leg, Chicken Siew Mai, Steamed Fish Fillet with Ayer Hitam Ginger & Scallion, Satay, Wok Fried Black Pepper Beef Noodle & Sprouts, Tofu Tikka Masala, Ikan Tenggiri Asam Pedas, among many more.

Then, take a trip down memory lane with the lok-lok street food experience as you grab sticks of your favourite Yong Taufu to savour with delicious broth before pleasing your taste buds with the crowd-favorite Seafood on Ice counter piled high with the freshest snow crabs, mussels, prawns, and scallops.

Don’t forget to have some fun while you dine! Reminiscence of childhood memories, FUIYOH Nostalgia boasts its traditional games corner where children (and adults!) can challenge each other to a game of gasing, lawan pemadam, congkak, or Happy Family card games, among many other games that bring recollection of the past.

Make a stop at the dessert station where you are spoiled with endless options – from local sweet treats such as Ice Kacang, to the unmissable traditional Nyonya kuih paired perfectly with a cup of refreshing Air Mata Kucing – before heading over to the Bubble Tea station.

Bet you’ve never played tikam-tikam in years! But don’t worry, test your guessing skills by selecting a numbered voucher that might very well earn you a complimentary FUIYOH Nostalgia buffet or 50% off your dining bill. Before checking out, every diner will get a shot at the tikam-tikam game booth where everyone is sure to win their share of vouchers amazing vouchers.
