A Season of Togetherness and Meaningful Feasts

February 1, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

This festive season, Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah sets the stage for an elevated culinary celebration with “A Season of Togetherness and Meaningful Feasts”, where the warmth of Chinese New Year and the soulful flavours of Ramadan & Raya come together at Nook, the hotel’s all-day dining destination.

CHINESE NEW YEAR: RIDE HIGH, HUAT HIGHER

From 6–13 February and 15 February, the Chinese New Year Daily Buffet invites guests to indulge in a festive spread designed around abundance, tradition, and indulgence, priced at RM98 nett per adult (50% off for children, 30% off for senior citizens).

For the most celebratory evenings, Reunion Dinner, CNY Day 1 & Day 2 are elevated into a communal feast at RM168 nett, where guests gather around a Long Table Yee Sang, tossing together in joyful anticipation of prosperity, accompanied by free-flow beer.

The culinary experience unfolds with Whole Roasted Lamb with Middle Eastern Spices, slow-roasted until meltingly tender and served with rich, comforting sauces, alongside the delicate elegance of Teochew Style Steamed Seabass with Aromatic Broth, where fresh fish is gently steamed and layered with savoury preserved vegetables and fragrant aromatics.

A highlight of the evening is the live Peking Duck carving, where chefs present the crisp, golden-skinned duck carved tableside — a theatrical centrepiece that blends tradition with celebration. The feast concludes with classic Chinese desserts, offering nostalgic sweetness to round off the evening.

“Chinese New Year is a time of reunion, generosity, and shared joy. Through our food and communal dining experiences, we hope to create moments where guests truly feel connected to each other and to the spirit of the season,” said Mr. Shanmugam Thangavelu, General Manager of Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah.

RAMADAN: RASAI NOOK FLOATING MARKET

As the sun sets during Ramadan, Nook transforms into the Rasai Nook Floating Market, evoking the vibrant energy of Southeast Asian night markets with an irresistible mix of Malay kampung favourites and irresistible Thai street food — no passport required.

Guests can begin with refreshing Thai salads, balancing sweet, sour, and spicy notes, before moving on to deeply comforting boat noodles, simmered low and slow in aromatic broth. The experience continues with smoky Thai street grills, fragrant curries, and freshly made roti pancakes, crisp on the outside and soft within.

To end on a decadent note, desserts such as Mango Sticky Rice and Tub Tim Krob provide a cooling, indulgent finish after a day of fasting.

Guests can also look forward to the return of all-time crowd favourites such as Beef Gearbox, Telur Ikan Mayong Asam Pedas, Nook Golek-Golek featuring Whole Roasted Lamb with Dum Briyani Rice, and Whole Roasted Traditional Honey Chicken with Spice Salsa.

Buffet prices start from RM108 nett, with early bird vouchers at RM89 (available until 17 February). Special discounts are extended to children, senior citizens, and Langkawians.

“Ramadan is deeply rooted in tradition, but at Aloft, we believe in adding a thoughtful twist to keep the experience exciting and relevant,” said Executive Chef Muhammad Aliff Akhbar Zakaria. “For Rasai Nook Floating Market, we reimagine familiar flavours through a vibrant blend of Malay kampung favourites with Thai street food influences. Each dish is crafted to feel comforting yet unexpected, honouring the spirit of Ramadan while delivering something refreshingly different. This is how we bring Aloft’s ‘Different by Design’ philosophy to the table.”

DULANG RAYA (FOR 2 PAX) – RM60 NETT

Celebrate the spirit of Raya with a comforting selection of local favourites, including Lemang and Ketupat Palas, Serunding Ayam, Traditional Chicken Satay with Condiments, Ayam Masak Merah, Rendang Daging Tok, Sambal Tumis Udang Petai, Sayur Lemak Lodeh, and Nasi Minyak Beras Wangi.

To complete the experience, indulge in classic desserts such as Aneka Kuih Raya and Bubur Pulut Hitam, accompanied by refreshing beverages including Teh Tarik and Bandung Selasih.

In addition to its festive dining experiences, Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah also offers curated Chinese New Year and Ramadan room packages, perfect for guests looking to turn their celebrations into a complete festive escape.
