Macalister Hotel by Penang Hotel Collection: Awesome Heritage Hotel in Town

February 26, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Recently, I got to know about a nice cosy hotel in Penang. The Penang Hotel Collection is one of the brands where they has lovingly restored a series of conservation shophouses and the intricate architectural features to offer our guests the opportunity to experience the unique charms of Penang’s rich and illustrious history.

And this time, we have our stay in one of their hotel collections which is the Macalister Hotel . The Macalister Hotel offers you with 26 units of room which complete with the facilities to enrich your stay in Penang.

Walking in the hotel, it is just felt like home where the receptions and the workers there are very nice and helpful. They lead us to our rooms and help us with our bags too. As, we have 3 pax; we book their Family 2 Bedroom Suite which comes with the awesome view.

The Deluxe Bedroom Suite completes with the basic necessities which includes toothbrush, towel, comb, and more.

They do have an induction hob, mini bars as well as microwaves so you can use them at the comfort during the stay.

The room is perfectly beautiful and cosy as they complete with the modern design and they have a small space where one can enjoy fast meals in the room and a mini sofa.

Asides from that, what I love is the convenience. It is located along Mc Callister Road where you can explore the local delicacies there which is just walking distance. And in here, you can explore delicious eats nearby such as Lorong Seratus Tahun Curry Mee, and opposite they have few delicious meals from the food court, Fish Head Noodles, and the famous eateries place at New Lane which is full of great food where you can walk there too.

The hotel is really convenient and the overall ambiance is good too. Overall, we love our stay and definitely will be back for another stay when we are in Penang.
