Chong Qing Grilled Fish @ Sunway Velocity

February 10, 2020 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review 1 Comment

With the great success of their opening in Kuching, Sarawak, Chong Qing Grilled Fish expended their wings to West Malaysia and now they are opening their second outlet in Sunway Velocity. Located at the Nanjing Street of the mall, Chong Qing Grille Fish brings you with the delicious tempting fish menu that you will definitely go back for more!

And this time we tried their Signature Grilled Fish where they are prepared with a choice of 8 different flavours and is further marinated with over 20 types of herbs and spices. The 8 different flavours to choose from are Spicy Fragrant, Spicy Numbing, Pickled Cabbage, Hot & Sour, Mushroom Herbs, Fermented Black Bean, Fresh Chillies and Chopped Chilli Pepper. Among the highly recommended flavours are; Mushroom Herbs with Willow Mushroom, Dried Porcini Mushroom, Fresh Mushroom, Garlic, Green & Red Pepper and Mushroom Spice and also Spicy Fragrant with Dried Chillies, Peppercorns, Spicy Sauce and Chilli Powder. You can also choose the choice of fish to go with it as well. The fish comes amazingly good and fresh and every mouthful is perfectly addictive. I wanted more of it now! And what’s more is the fish skin remains its crispiness which make me addicted.

For those who could not take spicy, they can opt for the non-spicy version – Chong Qing Mushroom Herbs Grilled Fish. They are pretty good and everything is so delicious.

Asides from these delicious fish, they do offers a wide range of items too.  One of the must to try includes their Salted Egg Fish Skin which is really delicious. The salted egg fish skin comes awesomely good where they give you a crispy crunch in it.

Spicy Chicken Cube

The spicy chicken cube is really addictive. The chicken cubes is beautifully stir fried with loads of peppercorn and chillies making it really addictive and good. Each mouthful is simply aromatic with the burst of spiciness sensation.

Salted Egg Calamari

One of the musts to try is also their salted egg calamari where the pulpy juicy calamari is beautifully coated with the salted egg and it is then fried till perfection with the salted egg sauce which made it awesomely good.

Double-Cooked Spicy Pork Slices

Another must try is their Double Cooke Spicy Pork Slices. The pork slices come incredibly good where each of every slice comes with the moist and juicy bites. Addictively good!

Hand Shredded Vegetables

Ends with some delicious stir fried vegetables.

Fresh Fruit with Jasmine Fruit Tower

After a spicy delight, is good to go for some refreshing drink.

For those who love fish and spicy delights, Chong Qing Grilled Fish is one of the must visit outlet.
