One of my favourite dining places, Dynasty Restaurant @ Renaissance Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings you with the great culinary indulgence. Led by Executive Sous Chef Kok Chee Kin, the restaurant’s MasterChefs have specially crafted 10 decadent dine-in set menus and exclusive à la carte specials that are a perfect blend of old traditions and modern tastes to create unforgettable memories.

 

Yee Sang 

This year, one can tossed your prosperity this year with the 6 varieties Yee Sang compromises of different seafood options and an appetizing mix of refreshing ingredients such as white turnips, carrots, yam as well as accompaniments like pickled ginger and pomelo, complemented with a homemade plum sauce.  And this round we had the Twin Prosperity Yee Sang where it is served with the Salmon and Whitebait.

 

 

Dim Sum 

Diners looking for an all-new experience must try this year’s exquisite collection of Lunar New Year Dim Sum stunners conjured for the most discerning palates. Explore awe-inspiring interpretations of yum cha traditions over delicate  dim sum here. We enjoyed some of their great selections of dim sums includes the Golden Dumpling with Carrot Sauce, Steamed Spinach Jade Dumpling with Prawns and Taro Ball with Prawns and Salted Egg  at RM19.80nett per basket.

 

Prosperity Dynasty Treasure Pot

Celebrate festive reunions in the comfort of you home or office with the Dynasty’s signature Treasure Pots. An impressive centerpiece for any table, the Prosperity Treasure Pot is layered with ingredients including fresh and sun-dried scallop, fish maw, fish stomach, Fu Kwei abalone, sea cucumber, roasted duck, farm chicken, flower mushroom, money bag, dried bean curd, tiger prawns and fungi mushroom. Brimming with whole Hokkaido and sun-dried scallops, whole abalone, stuffed dried oyster, Sang Kang ball, smoked duck, bamboo pith and a variety of premium treasures, the Golden Prosperity Abalone Treasure Pot is an indulgent ‘melting pot’ of top-grade ingredients for a reunion full with abundance.  The treasure pot is always our home favourites where the ingredients comes generous as well as quality ingredients. It is simply slur-licious.  The Treasure Pots are available for dine-in and takeaways at RM498nett and RM998nett for 5 persons.

9 Course Dinner

And for Epicureans seeking to usher in the New Year with a luxurious reunion dining experience may indulge in one of Dynasty’s gourmet set menus.  And in here Dynasty Restaurant offers you with the 3 scrumptious 9-course set menus that symbolize happiness, prosperity and health. We sample their Happiness Set for this round.

 

Braised Dried Seafood Soup with Crab Meat, Scallop and Sliced Abalone

We started off with the delicious bowl of soup and the soup is packed with generous ingredients. I am loving every sip of the soup for sure.

 

Poached Farm Chicken with Kwei Fei Abalone in Superior Stock 

I am loving how the Poached Farm Chicken is done. The chicken is perfectly poached till perfection with the moist and tender meat. The chicken is fragrantly infused with the Kwai Fei Abalone in Superior Stock making it to be one of my favourite dishes of the night.

Steamed Live Grouper in Premium Home-Made Soy Sauce
If you are someone who love fish, this is definite to try this. The grouper fish is perfectly steamed and give you a flaky meat texture with the light saltiness. Well paired with their Premium Homemade Soy Sauce. Simply delicious.

 

Sauteed Fresh Prawns with Chinese Herbs

Help yourself with the fresh prawns where they are perfectly sautéed till perfection with the Chinese Herbs. The prawns are simply fresh and it is well infused with the Chinese herbs. I am loving how it is done.

 

Sun-dried Oysters with Black Moss, Flower Mushroom & Vegetable

One of the must during any CNY dishes.  The Sun-Dried Oysters is perfectly braised and serve together with the Black Moss, Flower Mushrooms and Vegetables. Delicious!

 

Steamed Lotus Leaf Rice with Dried Scallop

Ends your meals with the Steamed Lotus Leaf Rice with Dried Scallops. The wholesome meals indeed where the rice is packed with flavours and it is perfectly topped with the dried scallops. Yummy !

Double Boiled Dried Sugar Cane with Peanut, Fungus & Pear

And of course, some sweet endings after the heavy delicious temptations. We love both the desserts and it is just not too sweet but a definite sweet ending!

The Set menus start from RM1,798nett for a table of 10 persons. For intimate gatherings, diners may select the Golden or Diamond 9-course set menus priced from RM1,098nett for a table of 6 persons, while smaller groups may choose 7 or 8-course celebratory set menus from RM498nett for a table of 5 persons with highlights like Crispy Farm Chicken with Spicy Minced Garlic and Roasted Duck King.

Gourmands seeking for an even more exclusive dining experience may indulge in 3 different individual set menus featuring thoughtfully crafted dishes such as Golden Minced Garlic Soft Shell Crab with Money Bag, Chilled Chicken Roulade with Golden Soft Shell Crab and Honey Baked Cod Fish with Mushroom and Minced Duck in Golden Cup. Each individual set menu is priced at RM198nett, RM298nett and RM398nett per person respectively, for a minimum of 2 persons per order.
