Your Matcha Moment Starts at Secret Recipe

June 16, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

As more people seek a smoother and more refreshing alternative to coffee, matcha continues to carve out its place among Malaysians, thriving in popularity. Riding on this growing love for matcha, Secret Recipe is stepping into the spotlight with an exciting Matcha Series, marking an exciting expansion of its beverage lineup for matcha lovers.

The new series brings together a selection of comforting classics to refreshing pairings suitable for different moments throughout the day. Whether it is a quick pause in between work or a slow afternoon break during weekends, there is a matcha for every kind of craving.

A Lineup Built for Every Craving

From the signature Matcha Latte to playful layered creations such as Strawberry Matcha Latte and Pandan Matcha Latte, the series blends familiar favourites with creative new twists.

“Matcha is a popular choice in drinks and desserts, especially in lattes where its smooth, earthy taste pairs nicely with milk and other ingredients. With this series, we aim to offer comforting and enjoyable combinations that our customers can enjoy in their everyday moments” said Ryan Chung, Marketing Manager at Secret Recipe.

The new Matcha Series features four different beverages including Hot Matcha Latte (RM14.00), Iced Matcha Latte (RM15), Iced Pandan Matcha Latte (RM15.50), and Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte (RM15.50).

At Langkawi outlets, the Iced Pandan Matcha Latte and Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte are priced at RM14.70, while the Hot Matcha Latte and Iced Matcha Latte are available at RM13.30 and RM14.20 respectively.

For those drawn to familiarity, the Hot and Iced Matcha Latte present a creamy texture and well-balanced profile with a nutty, earthy flavour that highlights the essence of matcha in its most classic form. As a more playful and fruity option, the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte layers matcha with strawberry chunks and creamy milk, creating a visually appealing drink that feels right at home alongside a slice of cake.

Adding a distinctly Malaysian touch to the series, the Iced Pandan Matcha Latte pairs the fragrant aroma of pandan with the depth of matcha, resulting in a flavour profile that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.

The Matcha Series will be available from 19 June 2026 at Secret Recipe outlets across Peninsular Malaysia, excluding AEON Mall Taiping. Don’t miss out on discovering a matcha flavour that matches your mood today!
