September 14, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

It is time again for mooncake festival and for those who are looking for sending boxes of delicious mooncake, here you go. With so many beautiful giftboxes with the delicious flavours of mooncake, we’ve gathered the top choices to make your selection hassle free.

Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur

One of the best mooncake I tasted so far. The Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur’s Chinese restaurant Yun House brings you seven flavours of the mooncake and every piece is absolutely good. And for an “extra special” mooncake, you can opt for the restaurant large lotus paste with eight egg yolk. Price is at RM 42 each for every piece of mooncake.

Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Shangri-La Hotel Kuala is another hotel serving delicious mooncake of the year. And this year Shangri- La Hotel Kuala Lumpur offers you with the wide choice of mooncake from classic to snow skin. And this year, their mooncake collections offer you with 12 flavours. As for the baked selection, one can have Red Bean, Lotus Seed Paste with single or double yolk, White Lotus Seed Paste with or without yolk and Assorted Nuts & Sun-Dried Fruits. New to the collection is the Yam Paste mooncake with single yolk.

Hilton Kuala Lumpur
Hilton KL had won the crowd attention with their beautiful boxes designed by renowned Malaysian fashion designer, Khoon Hooi, has designed two exclusive handbags ‘boxes’ which can house mooncakes for gifting. One can purchase their snow skin selection which is their signature. Some of it includes the Dragon Blossom, Musang King, Blue Moon, and Flower Drum. There are also traditional baked skin choices like White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk, Pandan Paste with Single Yolk, Red Bean Paste with Almond Flakes, and Traditional-Style with Five Nuts Mix, among other classics. Prices of individual mooncakes range from RM35 to RM56.

Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur brighten your mooncake festival with their beautiful selection of pastel mooncake boxes. The hotel’s mooncakes will only be offered in these gift boxes, with different colours containing a different combination of flavours, ensuring you’ll want to definite to purchase all of it.
