May 22, 2017 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

Zong Zi, or glutinous rice dumpling, is a traditional Chinese favourite most commonly made and savoured during the much-celebrated Dragon Boat Festival. Following a centuries-old recipe, these parcels of indulgent and hearty glutinous rice are filled with a variety of ingredients, wrapped in bamboo and lotus leaves and steamed till fragrant and succulent.
And this year, Master Chef Leung Kwai Hong and his team are crafting three signature dumplings for the upcoming Festival. This is where they are preparing 2 types of flavours where one is savoury version and two others would be the sweet version.
Duck and Chestnut Dumpling (MYR 43 nett)
One must assured to taste this huge pillow dumpling where they comes with the plentiful of ingredients which includes Chestnut, Salted Egg Yolk, Ham, Duck Meat, Dried Shrimp, Green Bean, Mushroom and Dried Scallop. The delicious dumpling is filled with the great aroma and every mouthful completes with flavours.
Lotus Paste and Red Bean Paste Dumpling (RM 16 nett)
For those who prefer a sweeter version, get the lotus paste and red bean paste dumpling. The Glutinous Rice is completed with the choice of both red bean paste and lotus paste with it. The taste comes just awesome!
