STARBUCKS MALAYSIA GIVES BACK THIS RAMADAN WITH ITS ‘KONGSI-EID FORWARD’ CAMPAIGN

 This Ramadan, Starbucks Malaysia embraces the spirit of kindness and togetherness through Kongsi-EID Forward, a community-driven campaign inspired by the meaning of ‘kongsi’ or ‘share’, and the idea of paying kindness forward. Throughout the holy month, customers are invited to take part in meaningful acts  of generosity by purchasing the Starbucks Ramadan Ready-To-Eat pack in-store. All accumulated RTE packs donated by customers will be distributed to children in orphanages nationwide, spreading joy and celebration in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

As part of the campaign, Starbucks Malaysia is also extending its outreach to the delivery rider community through its first-ever Rider-To-Eat initiative, contributing RM39,760 worth of Ramadan RTE packs and beverages. This initiative honors the dedication and resilience of delivery riders who work tirelessly, especially during the fasting month, while managing demanding delivery schedules. The initiative was officially launched on 27 February 2026 at Starbucks Bamboo Hills DT, where more than 150 delivery riders received the specially curated Ramadan RTE packs. 

“Delivery riders keep our communities alive and moving, especially during Ramadan when we rely on them to receive meals in time for iftar,” said Alia Emira Ismail, Head of Public Relations & Communications, Berjaya Starbucks. “Through Rider-To-Eat, we hope to recognise their dedication and make sure they have something ready to break their fast while continuing to serve others. This campaign is about appreciation as much as it is about charity, it’s our way of saying ‘we see you’ to our delivery riders, our customers and communities, and our partners who have walked this journey with us.”

Following the launch at Bamboo Hills DT, the Rider-To-Eat initiative will continue the outreach at Starbucks Bayan Baru, Penang, Starbucks Eco Boulevard, before concluding at Starbucks Prima 5 DT, Cyberjaya- ahead of the end of Ramadan.

Through Kongsi-EID Forward, Starbucks Malaysia continues its commitment to creating impact beyond the cup. Strengthening communities through small acts of kindness, shared humanity and collective celebration during the season of giving.
