Andrea Delzanno, Chef de Cuisine of Cucina, has created an array of Italian sweets featuring renowned Amedei chocolate in the Amedei Italian Afternoon Tea Set. Chef Andrea’s favourite is the Chocolate éclair, filled with silky Amedei chocolate mousse and topped with a beautiful butterfly decoration. Soft and light in texture, theTiramisu is rich in cocoa on first bite and the aroma of coffee and liquor will linger deliciously in your mouth.Limoncello panna cotta with a subtle kick of sweet limoncello liquor is designed to pleasure and refresh the palate.Other exquisite confections include Zaeti, Passion fruit chocolate mousse, Kisses in the gondola and Amedei praline. Enhancing the delicious spread are savoury petite treats such as Parma ham and melon, Apple crab blinisand Panini with tomato, mozzarella, pesto and salami.
A salted caramel chocolate ‘Chococina’ or Tea Forte gourmet tea of your choice will complete your idyllic afternoon. Smooth and indulgent, the newly launched Chococina features Novell dark chocolate from Spain topped with salted caramel cream and sprinkled with diamond rose Himalayan rock salt. Choose from hot or cold Chococina for the perfect sweet treat. Guests can even take home their double-layered glass of Chococina.
Additional “Merenda” choices include, Signature tiramisu cake (HK$48), Blueberry cheesecake (HK$48), Cannoli with custard cream and pistachio (HK$58) and Gelato (HK$58 per scoop).
Chef Andrea has also introduced four new sweet creations to the Cucina menu to welcome the arrival of spring. Using the finest ingredients, including Amedei chocolate and seasonal fruits, the desserts brilliantly showcase the colours and flavours of spring. Highlights include a classic Panna cotta with vanilla, mix berries and mango sphere(HK$98) with a smooth, creamy texture and vibrant burst of tropical fruits and berries. Other superb choices areÉclair with Amedei chocolate custard and mix berries sherbet (HK$98), Peach Melba with vanilla icecream, whipped cream and almond (HK$98) as well as Cannolo with custard cream, pistachio and chocolate (HK$98).
