Bee Gaik Dining @Ipoh: Affordable Delicious Nyonya Delights

September 9, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

It is always fun when you found another great place for dining and we found a nice decent restaurant in Ipoh serving Nyonya Delights. While we are unsure what to have in Ipoh and being slightly too lazy to look for food, we had our ride around the “taman” and found thus restaurant. Serving the communities and Nyonya food lovers since 1990, their restaurant serves a selection of appetizing spicy Curry Asam Fish Head, the authentic Nyonya Kapitan Chicken, other Nyonya-styled dishes and local favourites.

Perut Ikan (RM 8.90/ RM 12.72/ RM 17.81)
We sampled some of their delicacies includes the Perut Ikan which filled with the sumptuous traditional Nyonya dish which uses variety of vegetables and spices. A tasty dish for adventure. The perut ikan come

Kapitan Chicken  (RM 13)
Love the way they served the Kapitan Chicken and here bringing you with the dry version of curry chicken. It is served with those chunky chicken thighs and cooked in the light spicy taste, piquant and also the gravy is amazing delicious

Otak Otak with Fish Slices (RM 10.02)
One of the recommendation dish by their chef, the Nyonya dishes are well cooked with the Nyonya sauce, lemon grass spices, and it is then well steamed to perfection. Love the otak otak they served where they complete with fragrance blend of taste.

Overall Bee Gaik is one of the great place for a Nyonya Delights in Ipoh. Would be going there for more nyonya delights.
