11STREET LAUNCHES FIRST EVER K-FESTIVAL WITH SUPPORT FROM KOREAN GOVERNMENT

August 12, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Riding on the rising popular Korean trends in the country, leading online marketplace 11street (www.11street.my) today launches its inaugural K-Festival, a Korean-inspired online event which is not only designed to offer shoppers the best of Korea at shockingly good prices, but to celebrate and honor its heritage.

Hoseok Kim, CEO of 11street says that we take pride in carrying a significant mix of local and international products on 11street, as well as the latest and most popular items from overseas markets for shoppers to enjoy.

“Based on our recent research, searches for Korean products on Internet in Malaysia are increasing steadily over the past two years with particular interest on cosmetic, fashion and food items. With the upcoming K-Festival, we hope to enrich Malaysian’s affinity for a more Korean culture and lifestyle.”

“Moreover, 11street has the full support of the Korean government through the means of offering selected Korean based SME sellers on our site with free shipping in a total value of RM500,000 that will be enjoyed by our shoppers,” Kim adds.

During the month long festival which begins on 11th August until 11th September, shoppers will be able to purchase items from a wide variety of Korean products categorised under K-Lifestyle, K- Fashion, K-Food and K-Beauty.

Some of the exclusive products with massive discounts include Pepero chocolate stick, Ultra Hydrating Essence 3D Mask, Roichen Natural Diamond Ceramic cookware, Deer Brass Multi Bag, Purederm Collagen Eye Zone Mask and many more. To add to the excitement, 11street is giving out 50% discount and free shipping coupons daily from 9am – 11am which amounts to over RM 600,000 in value.

• K–Lifestyle

The category offers home and dining products to yummy Korean dining vouchers and even K-Pop albums. On a special note, 11street also has amazing travel packages for you to choose from! Meanwhile, for your favourite K-Pop music albums, popular acts such as Super Juniors and 2PM to name a few will also be available under K-Lifestyle.

• K-Fashion

Showcases the latest trendy outfits from Korean based brands such as Miseoul that specialises in offering a complete collection of everyday and active wear that are individual and stylish to keep you fashion forward.

• K-Beauty

Shoppers can then head over to the K-Beauty category to find the make-up and skincare items for a more eye-catching appearance. Some of the Malaysians’ top Korean brand choices like Laneige, 3W Clinic and CLIO will be on special promotions.

• K-Food

For Korean snacks lovers, the K-Food category offers a wide selection from Kmarket, one of the popular Korean grocery chain markets in Malaysia, covering Malaysians’ favourites such as Pepero chocolate cookie sticks, Banana, Strawberry and Melon milk, Shin Ramyun and our best-selling Korean snacks combos.

“Currently, we have over 300,000 Cross Border Trading (CBT) products from Korea. This not only offers shoppers the most extensive Korean range to choose from, but also assures them that they are purchasing quality. At 11street, we continuously strive to boost our array of items on the site with a key focus on ensuring only superior and value for money products are available whenever consumers shop at 11street,” ends Kim.
