TAPPERS CAFE @ BERJAYA TIMES SQUARE

January 1, 2015 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Tappers Cafe brings you with the great inspiration from the Malaysia’s colonial heritage and they are famed with their popular snack bars of the late 60s and 70s where the Hainanese Chef’s whipping out the irresistible delicious local and western delights in an air conditional setting. Now Tappers Café are mushrooming everywhere and this round I have them in their outlet in Berjaya Times Square.

One of its signature items is the Hainanese Chicken Chop. The Northern style of chicken chop serving is served with generous potato and peas. Drenched with generous portion of Hainanse sweet and sourish blend of tomato based sauce. I love the way it is being served with the light crispiness of the chicken and the delicious juicy meat. Nice !

I ended with their signature Fried Banana Fritters with Ice Cream (RM 6.50). Not much to shout out on the dish itself, the banana was well fried till perfection and it is served with a scope of vanilla ice cream beside it.Nothing much to complain, the fried banana comes pretty normal to me.
