SINGAPORE CHICKEN RICE, KEPONG

May 14, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

We are thinking what to have for the day and we spotted the shop back a few weeks ago when we are finding for food. So, we had ourself there for the chicken rice. The shop is well located near Jusco Kepong in Metro Prima.

There is nothing fancy about the restaurant as it is just so simple. The restaurant wasn’t too packed as there is not much customer. Browse through their menu, and what we saw is there are not only serving chicken rice but they do have BBQ pork, roasted pork, fish balls and vegetables.

– The Chicken Rice-

We had the set meal for 4 pax where it comes with the char siew, chicken and roast pork together with it. Not only that, the set also comes with the Hong Kong Style Vegetable and also a fishball/meatball soup. The chicken is well done and steamed and it is drowned in onion oil, sesame oil and soy sauce. The chicken is tender and it goes well together with the chicken rice. As for the BBQ Pork and Char Siew, there is nothing to shout about as I still prefer the one I had in Section 17 for this.

As for the meatball soup, the porky meat balls are juicy and bouncy which I love the most. It is well made and it has the juiciness and flavors in it.

– The Vegetables-
Overall the meal is quite satisfying and I would recommend the steam chicken and the meatball soup.
