PEI FOOK TRADITIONAL WANTAN MEE, KEPONG

January 30, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Pei Fook Traditional Wantan Mee is one of the famous wantan mee. The shop had been established with over 40 years of experience history. It was my first time there and we spotted the shop from afar when we saw that there are many people dining at the coffeeshop. It has become our decision to give a try to the wantan mee there. The shop is packed with people as early as 10 am and it is said that the wantan mee will sold out around 12 pm. Though there are lots of customer, neverless the service is fast. We had our ordered of wantan mee which took us less than 10 minutes to be served. It was really fast despite of the big volume of customer.

The wantan noodles was good and the the secret of a delicious traditional wantan mee will be the noodle. The texture of the noodles were springy when you bite into them. Each of every bite was marvelous but the wantan have a slight disappointment due to the wantan does not have much ingridients, and the soup does not taste good. But I can say the noodles is what I love about it.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 4.50

Next we had the curry noodles. The curry noodles was good and the curry noodles is being served with the wantan noodles instead. The curry taste is indeed very fragrant and the taste is quite good and nice too.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 4.50
