SINAR RAMADHAN AL-MUBARAK AT UTARA CAFÉ, HOTEL ARMADA

The Ramadan is here and during the Ramadan month, many hotels are having their Ramadan buffet, so is Hotel Armada. It is during Ramadhan where people from all walks of life and culture, dine together during the breaking of fast, all in the spirit of Muhibah. And in Hotel Armada, you may grab a chance to sit down with families to enjoy the ramadan meals and the delighting assortment of food as well as getting a chance for a meet up with families and friends. This Ramadhan, Hotel Armada Petaling Jaya is bringing the special elements of “Berbuka Puasa” right into the Utara Coffee House. Themed “Sinar Ramadhan Al-Mubarak”, their team of cultinary master will be preparing a variety of gastronomic delights in the holy month which features the local as well as internation spread of food. The Ramadan is filled with more than 100 dishes where the chef showcase a wide selection of dishes that emphasis on a variety of flavors and scent that will titillate your palate after a long day of fasting.

– The Ketupat-

To start of off, Hotel Armada had bring back the “kampung nostalgia” where the serving of a variety starters are being serves. The starters which are being served are from starters from Kerabus to, Lemang and Serunding and Aneka Jeruk. Over at the Ulam-Ulam counter, the various Ulam awaits you with Ulam Pegaga, Ulam Raja and Petai Papan Bakar. Aside, they do serves ketupat as well during the buffet.

-The Kerabu-

Besides from the Lemang, Hotel Armada  also serves a variety of Kerabu to serves us too. The Kerabu which are being serves is indeed having a vast variety including the traditional Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Sotong, Kerabu Kacang Botol and Kerabu Soo Hoon.

Besides the starters, they also served with a variety of the Middle Eastern delicacies namely, Qara Be Lahm El Ghanam (Pumpkin cooked with Lamb and Cumin), Dajaj Mehawar (Chicken with Aromatic Onion), Samkeh Harra Bil Kozhara (Spicy Fish with Coriander), Fatet Dajaj (Scented Chicken with Saffron Rice), Bayd Bil Forn (Baked Egg with Spinach). The dishes are all well prepared and well cooked and very full of aroma as well.

Not to be missed, Hotel Armada also features their signature as well where it includes the spicy delights like the Hati Lembu Masak Berlada, Sayur Lodeh, Ayam Golek, Pucuk Paku Masak Ikan Masin, Kambing Masak Merah, Daging Masak Serai, Ikan Pari Masak Asam Pedas, Rendang Udang Utara, Sup Tulang Rawan, Otak-Otak, Sotong Masak Kunyit dan Serai and the all-time favorite Siput Sedut masak Cili Padi.

Other than the spicy delights and the heavy food, the hotel also offers some local Malaysian favorites to be served in the buffet like the Apam Balik, Roasted Lamb, Assorted Satay, Sup Tulang Kambing, Murtabak, Roti Jala, Ayam Percik Panggang and loads more at the many stalls set up around the Bakar-Bakar area.

Besides from the locals, you may also find they do serves sushis and sashimi in their buffet as well. There are a variety of cute makis you can find in the spread. Other than that, there are also sashimi spreads like oysters, prawns and more is being served in the menu.

Not only that, they have keropok to be served in the buffet as well.

After a delicious appetizing meal, why not end your meals with some desserts and drinks too. The Desserts include traditional Malay Kuih, French pastries and tempting sweet delicacies such as Pengat Nangka, Bubur Pulut Hitam, Ais Kacang and Bubur Cha-Cha all prepared specially for the sweet tooth. There’s also a variety of beverages prepared for you to quench your thirst: Cincau, Kelapa Muda, Jagung, Kembang Semangkuk, Selasih and more.
