SRI NIBONG CAFÉ, BAYAN LEPAS

May 29, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Sri Nibong Cafe is one of the popular hot-spots for locals around Bayan Lepaas area for breakfast as well as lunch. The coffeeshop is usually packed with customers which sometimes we hardly can find a place to sit. The coffee shop is famous for some speciality which includes the luncheon meat bread as well as the koay teow soup.

The stall which serves the luncheon meat do serves a variety styles of breads which taste quite good too. One of the famous one is of course one of the best picks and I pick them as well for my breakfast today. A light bread which is well toasted with butter and added with the fragrant luncheon meat is indeed a great combination for breakfast.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 1.60

Next wehad the Penang Style Prawn Mee which is still good but still not the best yet we had tasted. The prawn mee which is being ordered is “keh liau” which is where we ordered with the additional ingredient s which they had added the pig blood with it as well.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM3.50

This is simply a special one. Have you heard of Char Chee Cheong Fan? This is where the smooth rice noodles is being stir fried alike char koay teow except for the koay teow is slightly thicker than the usual one. The taste is very good too.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM3.50

The Yong tau Fu is nothing to shout out as it is just normal and not as nice as the one in Ampang one too.
Taste: 2/5
PRICE: RM 17.50

– The Koay Teow Thngg-

The Koay Teow Thngg here is one of the specialities which is where the owner is cooking bowl by bowl. If you like to have their Koay Teow Thngg, you may need to wait a little longer. Aside, the speciality is they add egg into the koay teow.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 3.50 with egg

The paitee is just a normal one which is nothing special to me too.
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 0.70/each

Popiah
Taste: 2/5
Price: RM 2.80/2 pc
