DUDUK CAFÉ, DAMANSARA JAYA

April 12, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Duduk Cafe is one of the restaurants which is serving the Malaysia delights. The cafe is located at a cosy place where you can enjoy your meals and have some time with friends and family. I had bought the coupons from everyday.com and we had our dine there where they serves us with The “Truly Malaysian Cuisine” Nasi Lemak With 2 Side Dishes Of Your Choice + Teh Tarik + Banana Fritters à la mode (with Ice Cream) + Durian Triangles which is seling at RM 9.90 instead of RM 30.00. We had make a purchase by 3 coupons to have a try them with my family.

The nasi lemak (steamed rice cooked with coconut milk and lemongrass) which we had order is being accompanied with the usual ikan bilis, peanuts, cucumber, half a boiled egg and sambal. The rice is slightly fragrant and the texture is kinda good as well. We had a choice of adding 2 sidelines where we had an option of:

Ayam Rempah with Sambal Sotong

Ayam Rendang with Sambal Udang

Ayam Rempah with Sambal Udang.

The option of Ayam Rempah is nice with the nicely fried with the rempah. The ayam rempah is also really good in the taste.

As for the Sambal, both the sambal udang and sambal sotong cames up to be slightly spicy. The sotong and udang is also not much.

We had the Durian Triangles, Banana Fritters à la mode (aka pisang goreng with ice-cream!) which is nothing to shout out as it is just simply plain. The Durian Triangles is not really taste as nice as I expected as there is not much durian taste in it. As for the Banana Fritters, the taste is quite nice.

Accompanied with is the Hot Teh Tarik to furnish our meals.
