STARBUCKS COFFEE MOONCAKES

Mid Autumn Festival is coming and everyone is selling mooncakes in all places. Coffee Lovers can their choices of mooncakes from Starbucks as they had released a range of mooncakes. The mooncake is available in market from 2nd August 2011 till 12th September 2011. What’s so good is the mooncake is HALAL. You can share the mooncake with your colleagues as well as Malay friends.

Tiramisu mooncake is one of the famous delights from Starbucks. This delight is perfectly wrapped with Starbucks Coffee and lotus paste entices your taste buds. There’s a layer of rich cheese and mung bean set in the middle, wrapped with a mixture of lotus and coffee paste.

Caramel macchiato gives coffee lovers a delectable savor which is really delighting. The delights is wrapped in the mixture of ground coffee centre with Swedish Caramel and Buttrscotch Chips and you will definitely indulge with it

Hazelnut Latte Mooncake is where the mooncake is made of the blended of Starbucks Coffee and Chunky hazelnuts.
Taste: 4/5

Green Tea Chocolate Mooncake is an healthier choice of mooncake. This refreshing recipes centre with luscious chocolate filling and balanced with the Green Tea and lotus. Nice combination for green tea lovers.
Taste: 4/5

The package is around RM 32.80 for the Regular Package that consist of two (2) scrumptious mooncakes.

For RM 148.80 , you can get the Premium Package of all four (4) plus exclusive Limited Edition Ceramic Starbucks® Logo Coasters. Head down to Starbucks and grab your mooncakes.

Aside, we also tried the other desserts and specialties from Starbucks.

Banana l’opera is one of the new released from Starbucks. The cake is very rich, dark brown layer of imperial chocolate biscuit cake base, layered with coffee base and velvety smooth coffee butter cream and banana filling. The delights is a great combination with the coffee and also for banana lovers.
Taste: 4/5

Noir is a decadent affair with a rich, velvety smooth dark chocolate mousse base wrapped around a special soft chocolate biscuit filling at the centre. The chocolate is very thick ad well made. Love the way it is made. If you would like to grab them have them with caffe latte with hazelnut to make it more perfect.
Taste: 4/5

For low fat and healthier delights lover, you can opt for the Low Fat Apple & Carrot Muffin. The muffin is being baked with wholemeal flour. The muffin is are fully occupied with the shredded carrots.
