NEW GAYA SEAFOOD RESTAURANT, INNANAM

November 2, 2010 by StrawberrY Gal

New Gaya Seafood Restaurant is located about 15 minutes drive away from the Kota Kinabalu City. It is basically located at Innanam. The price of seafood here is considered reasonable and more budgets compares with the top end Seafood Restaurants in the City. This restaurant does not served pork.

As for service wise, I can say I had a bad experience as they do not give customer a good service. We make complains on the prawns portion where they provide us with 500g of prawns instead of 1kg. What we had in our ears is “FIND THE PERSON WHO TAKE YOUR ORDER TO SERVE YOU. I DID NOT TAKE YOUR ORDER CANNOT SERVE YOU” which is really annoying

Steam Prawn

Steam Prawn – One of the speciality in Sabah. The prawn is really fresh and the prawn is perfectly cooked. It is being steamed and the fresh prawns taste superb. This is because the prawns are fresh and with just steaming them, you can enjoy the sweetness of the prawns.

Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 28.00

Dong Fong Clams

“Dong Fong” Clams – It is being steamed and it is one of the recommended dishes in the restaurant. It is being steamed and the dish is kind of special
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 24.00

Salted Stir Fried Crab

Salted Stir Fried Crab – The salted stir fried crab, is where the crab is cooked with salted egg. The crab is simply delicious with a nice smell of egg and kind of salty. Nice combination
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 34/kg

Clay pot Taufu with Seafood

Clay pot Taufu with Seafood – The generous portion of seafood with tofu in clay pot.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 20.00

Stir fried Ostrich Meat

Stir fried Ostrich Meat – The ostrich meat is stir fried. The oyster meat is well fried with black pepper to cover the meaty taste. The meat is tender and taste like having some pork meat.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 15

All price are subjected to 5% government tax and 5% service charge
