BATU LANCHANG HAWKER CENTRE, BATU LANCHANG

March 8, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

The Batu Lanchang Hawker Centre is well known among the locals. Here come many famous foods like the pasembur, the nyonya kuih and more. The food court can be said as a wonder of food and it is opened daily. You may find stalls opened from 12 am onwards till late afternoon. The closing days for each store are differing. As so, you may find much food here.

Chinese Pasembur and it is one of the famous one in Penang. It is located next to Shariff Nasi Kandar) as the ingredients gels very well together. The freshly sliced vegetables soaked in the sweet spicy sauce; the very light, crispy crackers giving the pasembur some crunch; the random taufoo pieces that complement the rest of the ingredients had made it so nice and delighting. A best combination when you add some jelly fish on it.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 3.00

Char Koay teow is one of the famous and TOP 1 a must to have. The char koay teow here is well fried with big prawns and reasonable price. The char koay teow is non-halal where they fried with pork oils as well.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 3.20

Ice Kachang here is not much a great one to taste. The blended of syrups and nuts together. Served in hot weather would be a perfect time.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 1.80

LOCATION
Batu Lancang, Penang
