The Terrace @ Tamarind Springs : Charcoal Steamboat Here!

March 1, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Being one of the romantic dining restaurant, Tamarind did not disappointed us with their unique delights where they have Tamarind Hill, Tamarind Springs and NEO Tamarind. And recently they had introduced their latest dining concept with the name of The Terrace @Tamarind Springs.
Located in the same compound with Tamarind Spring, The Terrace brings you with a different experienced of enjoying steamboat where you can for sure remember for your life time. Enjoying steamboat is the contemporary, elegant setting just next to the beautiful greenies as your scenery, the place is certainly a spot for gathering, corporate dining, or even some romantic dinner for couple too.

Seafood Salad (RM 45)
Starts your meals of with a variety of Thai Salads. Enjoy the choices from the Papaya Salad (RM 35), Seafood Salad (RM 45) or The Minced Chicken Salad (RM 40). The Seafood Salad is indeed one of a must try here where the freshly steamed squids and prawns Is served with the shredded green papaya salad, together with dried shrimps with the toasted peanuts dressed in lime juice and palm sugar.
We the started off with their  Sunset Dining Steamboat where you can enjoy the steamboat here with the choice of 4 types of soup base bases crafted by Executive Chef Somkuhan Wandee. Choose from their signature soup from the Namya Kaknomjin, Tom Yam, Tom Kah and Clear Chicken Soup. Specially recommended, the Namya Kaknomjin taste is alike the Siam Laksa which is less sourish and added with the coconut milk in it.
What I am impressed is how they prepared the soup as they are using charcoal to cook the soup, and our serving of soup is also with charcoal which makes a difference in taste and feel.
Enjoy your steamboat with a variety of Seafood such as the Red Snapper Fillet (100g) (RM 15) , Grouper Fillet (100g) (RM 15), Tiger Prawns (5 pcs) (RM 56), Squids (150g) (RM 20) , Mussels (2 pcs ) (RM 15), Soft Shell Crabs (2 pcs) (RM 40) , Small Scallops (100g) (RM 25) and also large scallops (2 pcs) (RM 36). Not just seafood they do have Marinated Chicken Fillet , Wagyu Striploin Marbling Score 6, and Short Loin chops to be accompanied with your steamboat too.
For those who love bbq, no worries they have them too. And most of all, we do not need to grilled our food on our own and we lend the hands to the experts to do it for us.  And here, you can enjoy grilled fish from Seabass, Snappers, Pomfret, Sabah Mackerel, and   Black Ban. Enjoy the grilled Salmon Fillet and Cod Fish too if you are those who want to enjoy them easily. Filled your tummy too with a variety of grilled items in their menu such as the squids, prawns, flower crabs, chicken, lamb, and also beef sirloin. Everything is well grilled and delicious but bear with them for the fish as  it need 20 minutes to be served to you.
Not enough, no worries you can also enjoy some ala-carte dishes from their menu too which includes a fried pandan chicken, squid with salted egg yolk and many more.
Ends your meal with the wide selection of desserts too. Don’t miss out their Chendol & Sago in Young Coconut served with Vanilla Ice Cream and glazed with Gula Melaka (RM 23)
Deliciously doe Tiramisu with Mascarpone Cheese and LadyFinger Biscuit  (RM 30) had won my  heart for sure. And another recommended desserts is of course the Ricotta Cheesecake too. Have all this here in The Terrace at  Tamarind Springs.
