MOCHI SWEETS, PAVILION

March 24, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

– The Japanese Feel stall-

Mochi Sweet is getting popular and everyone would like to grab a try on the delights. I am here to grab a try of it since I am in Pavilion. Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous flour pounded into paste and moulded into shape. Mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time and has now evolved into a prominent snack and dessert in Hawaii, South Korea, Taiwan, Cambodia, and Thailand eaten all year round.

The mochi is said to be specially made and prepared in Japan and all the way flown to KL to be served here. The mochi is being kept at -20 degrees at all time and can be consumed immediately after being thawed for 10-15 minute. The shop is serving more than 10 choices of mochi. It is well made with the highclass design.

– The Elegant Packing-

I had bought with the 6 choices of mochi which is one of the best seller items. Aside, they also have a choice of 12 types of mochi as well. As for me I choose the 6 flavors which is 6 the top selling flavors set at the price of RM21.00. We tried the Green tea, red bean, cream chocolate, mango yoghurt, blueberry cream & chestnut cream. The overall taste of mochi is great and I am falling in love with it.

* The 12 flavors, for glutinous goodness’ sake: sakura, black chocolate, cream chocolate, yam, red bean, caramel macchiato, chestnut cream, green tea, peach cream, mango yogurt, strawberry & blueberry cream.

Taste: 4/5

Price: RM3.50 or RM4.00, depending on flavour.

Location:
Lot No. : P6.15.00, Level 6
