GYU-KAKU JAPANESE BBQ RESTAURANT @ TROPICANA CITY MALL

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant Malaysia

From the Land of the Rising Sun; Gyu-Kaku isindeed impress us with all the goodilicious food. The Japanese restaurant well decorated with the cosy and classy interior, with warm lighting, is indeed bringing us a welcoming experience. The restaurant offers a great time in sizzling without the smoke which is what I love the most. Each table comes with a smokeless roasters and down-draft system.

Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant serves halal-certified dishes and the menu includes a fine selection of wagyu beef, seafood, poultry and lamb. It was almost a full house when I was there, with diners tucking into their food and delicious sizzles from the meats on hot charcoal grill.

We started off with the Chicken Karrage (RM 8.90) where the deep fried chicken cubes comes awesomely good. The cubes of chicken is being coated with the flour and deep fried till golden brown. Each mouthful is sinfully good with the crispiness on the skin while insdie remains the juiciness in it.

A heavy salad to go with is the Horenso Salad (RM 8.90) where the freshly prepared Japanese Style Spinach Salad is well toasted with the crispy garlic and goma sesame dressing,. Well presented in the huge bowl. The salad comes awesome and every mouthful comes simply refreshing and appetizing.

Deep fried till perfection, the shrimp gyoza is simply awesome. The pulpy gyoza with the shrimp inside is deliciously done with the juicy bites in the inside and it is well accompanied with the Okomomiyaki Sauce and Mayonaise Sauce. Two thumbs up!

The tofu Chige Soup comes to our favorite where the tofu and chicken is being cooked in the awesome savory soup. The soup comes warm and flavourful ; and each mouthful comes simply awesome. Two thumbs up!

As for the grilled items, they have few sets of combination you can ordered from. We had the Raku Set where it comes with Kimchi, Namuru, sausages, Lamb Neck, Chicken thigh, Lamb Chop, Chicken Fillet, Prawns , Squids, Salmon , steam rice, Tamogo/Wakame Soup and also the Gyukaku Ice Cream. The set for 2 pax is RM 128.00 ; 3 pax at RM 168.00 and 4 pax at RM 218.00

The Lamb Chop (RM 32.90) and the lamb neck (RM 15.90) were good. With the choice of marinated and non-marinated version. You get a range of dipping sauces to go with the meats. All the lamb and meats are sinfully good with the Succulent, sizzling texture. Awesome!

As for the Chicken meat; it is well marinated with their signature gravy with it. The chicken thigh and fillet is being marinated with the spicy miso with it, It comes with light spiciness but the taste is amazingly lovely. Aside from the spicy miso, you can opt to have tare, shio, miso, teriyaki, garlic and more. Try them and I will asure that you will enjoy them. Each mouthful of the delicacies comes goo d and simply delicious.

Aside from that, the squid is also a good one, Comes fresh and chewy.
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ Restaurant Malaysia
The prawns were deliciously done. Without any marination and just barbecued as it is; the taste is simply amazing and each mouthful comes divinely good which I cant afford to say No to it.
