WEIL HOTEL REKINDLES LOVE THROUGH GASTRONOMIC DELIGHTS

WEIL Hotel, a newly-opened urban retreat perpetuating endearing hospitality in the heart of Ipoh is welcoming the month of February with an array of culinary experiences aim to rekindle the love for family, friends and the special ones on Valentine’s Day and the Chinese New Year.

The hotel has designed Western and Chinese cuisines dedicated for the special occasions with gastronomic and tantalising menus that showcase the fine culinary skills of its Executive Chef, Eric Soong for Valentine’s Day and renowned Hong Kong Master Chef, Chung Ho Shi for Chinese New Year reunion dinners.

With experience in managing eight (8) kitchens and staff dining as Executive Sous Chef at China World Summit Wing Beijing for two years, Chef Eric Soong currently guides the culinary team and supervises the banquet dining and food & beverage outlets at WEIL Hotel, while Chef Chung brings with him 47 years of Cantonese cuisine culinary experience having worked in several countries across Asia, including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Japan and Singapore.

Guests, be it Ipohites coming home for reunions, travellers or love birds will get to taste their signature dishes at Tiffin Restaurant, The Deck, Yuk Sou Hin Restaurant or opt for in-room dining amid luxurious, cosy rooms.

Mr. Liew Yu-Wei, Executive Director, WEIL Resources Sdn Bhd said, “We hope to attract good vibes during both the occasions, especially Chinese New Year as we expect to see an influx of Ipohites returning home for the festivity. This is the main reason for our special promotion as we thrive to create a joyous atmosphere for our guests during their reunion. WEIL Hotel strives to treat its guests and travellers all year round, more so during such special occasions.”

Valentine’s Day Package

TIFFIN Restaurant: Dine in a romantic ambience with your loved ones amid dim lights and candle-lit table that will bring out the romance in any couple. For only RM160++ per couple (2 pax), guests will be treated to a buffet of international cuisine namely Heart Tomato Caprese Salad, Oxtail Osso Bucco, Apple Brine Chicken Breast and homemade Rasberry Cheesecake Brownies, 2 glasses of standard drinks at The Deck and a 30% discounted voucher upon any purchase of a bottle of wine from The Deck (valid until Valentine’s Day only).

In-Room Dining: In-house guests can get comfortable with ultimate refined private dining at RM208++ that entitles them  to three (3) course western set dinner for 2 persons and one (1) bottle of House Selection wine. Exclusive dining experience in a luxurious comfortable private and cozy setting brings romanticism to another level.

Chinese New Year Package

·Yuk Sou Hin Restaurant: Prepare for a mouth-watering, tantalizing feast as Yuk Sou Hin offers a wide selection of contemporary Cantonese cuisine and a customised salmon Yee Sang made especially for Chinese New Year. The highlight of the festive promotions is none other than the opportunity to taste Hong Kong Master Chef, Chef Chung’s signature dish the Smoked Duck with Lychee Wood, Double Boiled Chicken Soup with Ginseng and Abalone and Steamed Garoupa Fish with Superior Soy Sauce.  Promotion starts today till 5th March 2015.

TIFFIN Restaurant: Keeping to the tradition of businesses having lunches or dinners for their staffs to signify the closure of the year and the ushering of a new year, TIFFIN, an all-day-dining restaurant is offering buffet lunch/dinner package for RM68++ per pax. The package comprises of a plate of Yee Sang to symbolize prosperity, longevity and luck. Ginger Braised Duck, Ginseng Black Chicken Soup and Cantonese Style Steamed Red Snapper are some of the signature dishes to be featured on the buffet line.  Guests are also welcome to bring along their children as the buffet spread is complimentary for children aged below 6 years old. For children aged 6 – 12 years old, they get 50% off the price of RM68++.
