A dine in Canton- I, Queensbay Mall, Penang

April 3, 2010 by StrawberrY Gal

A visit back to Penang had taken me to Queensbay Mall to have a try on the Canton-I there. Knowing that the Canton- I in KL is excellent, i make a move to Penang and took my parents for a lunch there.

OMG, it give me a big big disappointment on the food there. Gosh.. what we ordered is those normal speciality like the Wan Tan Mee and more and it give a big big disappointment. The wan tan mee. The wan tan mee here does not taste nice. The mee was not well made and the wantan does not taste as nice as the one in 1-Utama.

The next food we ordered was the char siew chicken rice. The taste for this is still delighting. Just the rice is like too overcook. Other than that is not bad

The marinated cuttlefish with Jellyfish in marinated sesame sauce had give me a big disappointment. The taste is not really nice. The Sesame sauce taste is being poured to much and make the taste not nice any more. Yucks!!

I also ordered the Sze Chuan Style Fried Noodles which is not crispy. The one i had in 1-Utama is crispy at the side and the sauce is nice. Here, the mee is overcooked and is poured the sauce too much. The taste is simply unacceptable.

A pot of tea is my order and the presentation is nice. The tea taste is nice as well
