BBQ Duck Rice & Wan Tan Mee @ Restaurant Duck King, Jaya One

February 7, 2010 by StrawberrY Gal

Restaurant Duck King – a place which i been for once. This restaurant had been reviewed by many food critics like Choi Lan. It is said that one of the famous one will be the duck rice. The restaurant is packed up during the lunch hour as well. This is our first visit here. Let’s see what we ordered.. As we are not been invited nor rich, we are only able to have the normal price range food for our meal.

As for here, price wise is still can say reasonable compared to Canton-I , but to compare with the road side food it is expensive. So, me and dear ordered the wan tan mee and the BBQ Duck Rice which was said to be one of the famous delicious in there.

They started their serving with the Liang Cha and tibits which can say is appetizer. The appetizer is some sorts of acar acar.

Waiting time is still considerable not too long. It comes served with the Duck Rice which is simply amazing. The BBQ Duck Rice is a bit special as you can’t find any sauce on the rice itself but i can say that the duck is tender and the rice is special. The overall taste is really amazing

As for the wan tan mee, the taste is so so only. The wantan meat is not that nice and a bit dry. We both still prefer the Canton-I wan tan mee.

The overall meal is not too bad and is nice. Service is good as well
