Sofitel KL Damansara x MEGAN Jewellery 916 Golden Afternoon Tea

August 20, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

This Unity Month, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara proudly shines a spotlight on Malaysia’s rich artistry with a one-of-a-kind collaboration with MEGAN Jewellery, a home-grown jeweller renowned for timeless craftsmanship.

Reflecting Sofitel’s vision of blending French savoir-faire with local heritage, this partnership celebrates Malaysia’s twin milestones — Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day — with an experience that honours tradition, unity, and artistry.

Introducing the 916 Golden Afternoon Tea

Available from 26 August to 21 September 2025, the Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara x MEGAN Jewellery 916 Golden Afternoon Tea transforms teatime into a celebration of luxury and culture.

Hosted at the elegant Le Bar Cocktail & Stories, the limited-time menu reimagines local flavours through the lens of fine French pastry techniques. Guests will savour:

Pastries infused with chempedak and Pisang Montel bananas.

✅ Savoury bites enhanced with Sarawak black pepper.

✅ Delicate sweets inspired by Cameron Highlands strawberries.

✅ A playful golden crispy rice ball Nasi Lemak, alongside pastries shimmering with edible gold flakes.

Each creation is a miniature tribute to Malaysia’s diverse heritage, refined with Sofitel’s hallmark French elegance.

Golden Keepsakes: A Collaboration with MEGAN Jewellery

To mark this momentous season, Sofitel and MEGAN Jewellery present the exclusive 916 Golden Croissant Pendant, a radiant piece of artistry inspired by Sofitel’s La Haute Croissanterie. Crafted in luminous gold, the pendant embodies the perfect union of French pâtisserie and Malaysian craftsmanship.

Only eight pendants exist in the world, making them rare treasures. With every order of the 916 Golden Afternoon Tea, guests stand a chance to win one of these limited-edition pendants — a keepsake of elegance, unity, and national pride.
