Scheduled to operate every day from 16 November 2023 to 1 January 2024, the 90-minute ferry service connects Singapore’s Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal to Desaru Coast Ferry Terminal for the year-end holiday period.

Escape to Desaru Coast for a Day

As an integrated destination catering to a variety of travellers, Desaru Coast has crafted four distinct experiences, ranging from family-friendly activities to eco-adventures. Priced between RM420 / SGD122 and RM680 / SGD197, each package includes return ferry tickets and Desaru Coast shuttle services for on ground connectivity. Alternatively, visitors can simply hop on the ferry to explore the pristine beaches of Desaru Coast or enjoy a meal at one of the 20 restaurants at the destination.

Popular among families with children is the Splash Day Out package at Adventure Waterpark Desaru Coast, which features over 20 exhilarating wet and dry rides alongside one of the largest wave pools in the world. The Out at a Fruit Farm experience is a hit with families, as they get to explore 180 acres of tropical fruit land and enjoy the thrills of ATV rides.

Eco-lovers keen to immerse themselves in nature can opt for the Out-in-Nature Mangrove Tour. Led by one of Malaysia’s best-known naturalist curators JungleWalla, the tour takes eco-explorers to Sungai Lebam to meander along the river to uncover many interesting secrets of Malaysia’s unique mangrove ecosystem. While cruising the mangrove, guests can spot birds such as the Black-Shoulder Kites, Herons, and Pacific Swallows.

Lastly, experience an ideal golf day at The Els Club Desaru Coast with Golfer’s Day Out. Play an 18-hole round of golf with friends on a world-class fairway that features panoramic ocean views, before capping the day with an indulgent three-course lunch.

Desaru Coast daycations can be booked at www.desarucoast.com or via the Desaru Coast Concierge, which can be reached via phone at +60 197 912 217 or email at [email protected] from now to 1 January 2024.
