Vietjet boosts inbound tourism in Da Nang with new direct routes from New Delhi and Mumbai

October 27, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Vietjet officially marked the commencement of its latest services from Da Nang to New Delhi and Mumbai as it welcomed the first passengers onboard both flights. This is in line with the airline’s planned expansion into India with a total of 10 services into operation now.

These new routes are set to open a world of possibilities as travelers from India will be able to leverage Vietjet’s extensive flight network to reach other parts of the region including Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), South Korea, Singapore and Japan. On the other hand, travelers from Malaysia can now also visit the two largest cultural, economic and political centers of India via Vietnam.

A destination that draws travelers from far and wide, Da Nang is the gateway to Vietnam’s “Central Heritage Road” including Hue – My Son – Hoi An. It is also home to well-known cave sites in Quang Binh as well as Ba Na Hills and the world-famous Golden Bridge. These flights will also take Vietnamese travelers on an adventure to discover the diverse cultural, religious and culinary specialties in New Delhi and the “City of Dreams”, Mumbai, as well as many more historical, cultural and religious landmarks in India.

Vietjet will operate four return flights per week connecting Da Nang with New Delhi on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, the Da Nang to Mumbai service will operate three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

In celebration of these two new routes, Vietjet is offering promotional tickets for all Vietnam – India routes starting from only USD0 (*) that will be on sale every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday via www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app. The travel period will be between now until 26 March 2023 (**).

Travelers into Vietnam can also enjoy traveling in pre-pandemic fashion as the country lifted all regulations relating to Covid-19 for all international arrivals. All international travelers coming to Phu Quoc are eligible for a 30-day visa exemption and can fully enjoy what this paradise island has to offer.

(*) Excluding taxes and fees

(**) Excluding Tet and national holidays
