deMALA Hotpot @ 1 Utama : Halal Si Chuan Mala Hotpot in Town!

October 15, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Being one of 1 Utama fans , I finally get my food adventure there where they recently had added quite a number of F&B in their mall. And this time, we discovered a brand-NEW Halal Si Chuan Hotpot there where it is located just at the back of KFC.

With the name of DeMala Hotpot, it is indeed a Muslim friendly mala hotpot restaurant which is worth the visit. In here, we are understanding that they are serving both buffet style and also ala-carte in their menu too.

Starting from the broth, they have 5 choices of broth to go for which includes the SiChuan Mala, Mushroom, Tomato, Tom Yum and Chicken Bone Broth. We had chosen the Si Chuan Mala as well as the Mushroom Broth for this round.

The Condiments

IN their menu, you can find quite a vast variety of ingredients in their selection where you can grab the handmade ebiko shrimp balls which is a must to order. The shrimp balls is absolute an indulgence with the bouncy texture and  comes with the pure meat bites.

Asides from that, you can enjoy the wide selection of seafood too such as the prawns, crabs, scallops and may more.

Their mushrooms are fresh too!

Not just that, one can get their vegetables straight away -freshly picked here too!

The Talapia fish is a must order as they are sourced directly from their pond in 1 Utama. The meat is so good and texture is excellent.

Not forgetting, they do served wide variety of ala-carte delights too. Don’t miss out their Sichuan  Fish Slice Soup as it is so authentic and every mouthful brings you with a kick of spiciness in it. They are superbly good and I don’t mind few more servings. Perfectly paired with a bowl of rice.

The Spicy Diced Chicken is as good as it should be. It brings you a numb taste and yet with the spicy kick in it.

For those who are looking for more than just hotpot, they have them all from hotpot to ala-carte delights. Is time to hop to deMaLa Hotpot to satisfy your cravings .
