March 2, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

It is time to visit the Pavilion Bukit Jalil and venture to the LATEST HYPE in TOWN. The Pavilion Bukit Jalil welcomes The Icon of Connectivity  and the award winning and leading retail Siam Piwat’s International Expension, , as they bring three exclusively curated ‘Made in Thailand’ brands Ecotopia, Absolute Siam and ICONCRAFT to the mall’s new Thai Precinct.

With the brands’ incredible success in Thailand, generating millions of visitors annually, these well-loved and popular Thai brands that have generated much attention are finally available to Malaysians at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Situated in an 11,000 square feet retail space that encapsulates each individual brand’s personality, Ecotopia, Absolute Siam and ICONCRAFT center around purposeful retail, where each of these unique and creative Thai brands gives local Thai entrepreneurs an opportunity and international platform to showcase the height of Thai creativity and a selection of environmental conscious and sustainably sourced products from local Thai artisans within this 3-in-1 open-concept store.

Present to officiate the Grand Opening was Guest of Honour Mrs. Piyapin Niyomreks, Deputy Head of Mission, Royal Thai Embassy (representing His Excellency Chainarong Keratiyutwong, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia); alongside VIPs including Ms. Usara Yongpiyakul Chief Executive Officer – Retail Business Group, Siam Piwat Co., Ltd.; Mr. Worawan Wanwil, Minister Counsellor, Department of International Trade Promotion, Royal Thai Embassy; Datuk Lee Whay Hoong, Director, Regal Path Sdn Bhd; Dato’ Joyce Yap, CEO of Retail, Kuala Lumpur Pavilion Sdn Bhd; Mrs. Parisa Chatnilbandhu, General Manager of Siam Selected Co. The opening of these 3 brands is a significant milestone of partnership between Siam Piwat and Pavilion Group, which reinforces Siam Piwat’s aspiration to bring Thailand statement onto the world stage.

“We are proud to be taking SMEs products that have proven popular among foreigners to countries with high purchasing power while building awareness of Thai brands and designers internationally with the launch of the first Ecotopia, Absolute Siam, and ICONCRAFT stores outside of Thailand. For more than 10 years, Siam Piwat has been working with several agencies to incubate Thai entrepreneurs by training them how to design and market their products. We are proud to take our initiative further by giving them the exposure to showcase and sell their products to an international audience and introduce Thai culture, creative modern designs, and traditional handicrafts to the Malaysian market. We look forward to working with The Pavilion Group to continue our international expansion and to further strengthen Malaysia and Thai business relations,” said Ms. Usara Yongipiyakul, CEO of Retail, Siam Piwat Retail Holding.
