Hilton Malaysia Introduces CNY E-Angbao This Chinese New Year!

February 11, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Hilton hotels in Malaysia introduce a fresh and meaningful twist to the age-old tradition of angbao-giving with e-angbaos, which will be available to Malaysians at participating Hilton hotels – Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Petaling Jaya, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Garden Inn Puchong and Hilton Kuching.

Available for purchase throughout the 15 days of Chinese New Year (12 February–26 February 2021), the #HiltonEAngbao comes in 8 different values – RM48, RM88, RM188, RM288, RM488, RM688, RM888 and RM1088 – which can be redeemed for any item listed on the brand’s e-commerce site, takeus-home.com or at any F&B outlet across all participating Hilton hotels in Malaysia.

As the first ever digital red packet from the brand, Hilton is also rolling out a special introductory offer, where Malaysians can get their hands on the #HiltonEAngbao at a more attractive rate from now until the 8th day of Chinese New Year.

The tradition of angbao-giving holds great significance and is a huge part of the Chinese New Year celebration. However, as most parts of Malaysia are still under the Movement Control Order (MCO) 2.0, the #HiltonEAngbao is the brand’s initiative to keep the festive joy alive for the public, no matter where they are. At the same time, giving Malaysians a reason to experience the brand’s hospitality through its various offerings.

How to purchase and redeem the #HiltonEAngbao:

1. To purchase, visit takeus-home.com/hilton-kl (for redemptions at Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Petaling Jaya, DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Garden Inn Kuala Lumpur and Hilton Garden Inn Puchong), or takeus-home.com/hilton-kuching (for redemptions at Hilton Kuching).

2. Select your preferred e-angbao value and make your payment.

3. A confirmation email will be sent to you within 5 business days, which will include the e-angbao(s) with a redemption code.

4. Take a screenshot or download the image of the e-angbao and send it to your loved one or clients.

5. To redeem, simply enter the code on the e-angbao during checkout at takeus-home.com or present it to our staff at the selected Hilton F&B outlet.

The #HiltonEAngbao is valid until 31 August 2021 and can be purchased multiple times.
