More than 35 years Local Home Thai Food @ PJ New Town

October 1, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

It has been a while since I had my Thai Food craving. And recently, we found a hidden jewel in Petaling Jaya where they offer you with the awesomelicious delights. In here, one can definitely enjoy the local bites of Thai delights which is eaten at their home.

The restaurant that has more than 35 years of operation was currently run by its 3rd generation family member; Ivan Yuen who was also a Professional Squash Player named Thai Corner which is located in PJ New Town.

And this time, we are recommended with their wide variety choices of dishes which includes the Kerabu Mango, Thai Fried Egg, Pandan Chicken and many more.

Kerabu Mango (RM 12)

It is one of the must try item here at Thai Corner. In here, you can enjoy their deliciously prepared Kerabu Mango which comes with the sweet, spicy and sourish taste in it. I am loving every mouthful of the kerabu mango where it is really appetizing. They are just perfect for sharing too.

Tom Yam (Prawn & Sotong) (RM 22 (S)| RM 42 (L))

Being in a Thai Restaurant, Tomyam is also a must to order. And in Thai Corner, they comes with 2 types of tomyam where you can have the prawn and sotong tomyam or the tomyam with the coconut milk. The tomyam is made from scratch and it brings you with the aromatic tomyam taste with the burst of spiciness sensation.

Thai Fried Egg (RM 24)

The Thai Fried Egg is worth to go for where the fried egg is topped with the bursting spiciness where they are beautifully top with the generous portion of the Thai Basil Minced Chicken on top. There are just perfectly an indulgence where you can enjoy both comfort dining in one goal.

Pandan Chicken

Don’t miss out their Thai Pandan Chicken as well where they are well wrapped with the pandan leaf and then deep fried till perfection. The pandan chicken comes with the aromatic hint of pandan in it and it is fragrant too.

And of course their Thai Style Steamed Fish. The Thai Style Steamed Fish is one of my favourites for sure. The Thai Style Steamed Fish is served with the generous portion of lemongrass, minced garlic and coriander leaf . Bursting with the hot and spicy sensation, I am loving how they prepared the delightful item where the fish comes simply fresh too.

For those who are looking for some yummi-licious Thai delights, here you go :
