Somboon Seafood @ Bangkok

October 30, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Somboon Seafood is one of the popular dining place in Bangkok where you can enjoy your seafood in comfort. And this time, we are there to have our seafood with our Thai friends. Samboon Crab is pretty popular here but we did not order them for this round.

And for those who are not aware, Samboon Seafood is one of the seafood restaurants that stands by the unique tastes it developed over the years in its speciality taste. They first opened back in 1969 where the restaurant began its journey by bringing the best Thai and Chinese flavours together in harmony and create signature dishes. Among these, the original “Fried Curry Crab” is one of the restaurant standouts that has caught the attention of global media and has been dubbed Asia’s Best Version of the dish. And now they have 8 outlets in Bangkok.

Stir Fried Fresh Water Prawns with Garlic And Chili
( 500THB (S) | 1000THB (L))

We love how the taste of the delicious water prawns which is perfectly delicious where they are served with the awesomely delicious prawns which are complete with freshness and aromatic fragrant from the garlic and chili.

Spicy and sour Prawn Soup with Dried Chili
(320 THB (S)| 520 THB (L)

Comparable with the usual tomyam soup, their tomyam comes awesomely good with the light kick of spiciness. The dish is filled with the aromatic flavours of tomyam and every mouthful is perfect to me !

Grilled Squid ( 220THB (S)| 300THB (L)

Another of our favourites is their Grilled Squid where the squid are huge and perfectly grilled till perfection. The Squid comes simply delicious where the meat is simply juicy and complete with the a little char taste in it.

Stir Fried Morning Glory with garlic and chili
( 180 THB (S)| 240 THB (L))

Beautifully stir fried till perfection, the morning glory dish is really good and delicious. Perfect indulgence.

If you are looking for a nice comfort meal of Thai food in Bangkok, this is perhaps one of the places to visit.
