GRAND PALACE, PAVILION

– The Hills of Abalone-

Imbi Palace restaurant started in 2003 by KMN Mr. Lum Tuck Loy, Yap Yook Wah, renowned HK chef Mr. Chin Hon Yin, a few other partners, their executive chef Jason Tong and their General Manager Annie Chang. The restaurant specializes in Cantonese food with a wide range of ‘live’ seafood, HK dim sum and barbeque, Lanzhou ‘la mien’ and Cantonese porridge and noodles. The noodles are specially imported from Hong Kong to give an authentic taste.The place is well decorated and it looks real grand. The menu which is being served to us is being arranged and designed by Chef Jason Tong, Group Executive Chef which is one of the experience chef in the Cantonese Cuisine wih the reputable hotel in Hong Kong.

The menu is started off Double Boiled Cordyceps Flower with Top Shell & Fish Maw. The soup is a very healthy and nutritious soup. The soup is served hot and the cordyceps is simply delicious and the combination of the ingridients brings out the sweetness of soup. The soup which is simply nutritious is said to help to improve skin complexion, nourishes our Yin, and cleanses our kidney.

Crispy Golden Peking Duck is impresively nice and delighting. The Peking Duck is popular duck dish from Beijing and I am falling in love with it from the first bite. The dish is being served with the thin crispy golden skin duck with a right amount of meat is indeed appetizing. The skin and the meat is added with some scallion and the hoisin sauce is then being wrapped with the home made thin pancake. The delights is overall perfectly made and the overall meat with the duck with it is juicy and temptating as well.

– Pan Fried Stuffed Scallops-

Pan Fried Stuffed Scallops is where Imbi Palace is using the finest scallops from the icy waters of Canada. It is then being combined with combined with Banana Prawns from the Gulf of Carpenteria. The scallops are stuffed with fresh prawns to create two distinct flavors and aromas. With the combination, I am just loving the sweet and tender juicy taste of the scallops and I want for more too.

8 Treasures Truffles Chicken is a dish which is being prepared by 8 different types of mushrooms and it is then being infused with the truffle sauce. The entire chicken is then being hung up to roast to bring out the rich flavor of the chicken meat while maintaining a crispy skin on the outside. Thechicken meat appears to be tender and the overall combination is indeed lovely and delighting.

– BBQ Broiled Spanish Pork Ribs-

BBQ Broiled Spanish Pork Ribs is served next where it is from the Spanish Arabian Pig which is known for its nutty flavors and the dish is simply delicate melt-in-your mouth marbling. The delights is well bbq and the it’s meat is uniquely tender, rich and rosy as well. The meat is tender and juicy and we are indeed falling in love with it so much.

– South African Dried Abalone-

– South African Dried Abalone-

One of my favorites is finally here which is the South African Dried Abalone and the abalone which is served here are being harvested from the unpolluted seas off the coast of Hermanus. The abalone are being served are being braised and the abalone meat is simply tender and delighting.

– LanZhou Knife Shaved Ramen-

LanZhou Knife Shaved Ramen is a delicay from Lan Zhou, GanSu which is one of the heritage delights which is being enjoyed from generation in China. The ramen is being shaved of from a ball of dough and it is all handmade. It is then being served in pickled vegetable soup which is bring a light soury spicy taste which is simply special and well made.

Braised Noodle with Duck Meat is one of the dishes which is being served in the menu. The duck meat is being sliced and then it is cooked with their handpulled ramen. The ramen is indeed very nice with the soft texture.

Since it is a season of mid autumn festival, We are being served with the Snow Skin Mooncake as well. We are served with the snow skin mooncake with the white snow skin paste which is imported from Hong Kong.
Price: RM 15.80/mooncake

We ended our meals with the refreshing desserts which is one of my favorites. It is the signature desserts of the Imbi Palace Group and the desserts is impressively done with the sweet coconut pudding in it. I am loving that so much which i finish the whole of it and its never enough for me
