JW MARRIOTT KUALA LUMPUR USHERS IN THE YEAR-END SEASON WITH FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS

The festive season was ushered in with much zeal and fervour at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur as the hotel recently held its annual launch of the Toys for Tots charity campaign and Christmas tree lighting ceremony.

Officiated by Area General Manager Mr Mahmoud Skaf, the Toys for Tots charity campaign is a benefit event hosted yearly by the hotel in support of charitable organisations for children within the community. Children from participating homes have the opportunity to have their Christmas wishes displayed on the hotel’s impressive Christmas tree at the Lobby for guests and the public to grant their wishes by contributing gifts or donating funds for the purchase of these gifts. This year, there are 200 Christmas wishes submitted by the children of Rumah Kebajikan & Anak Yatim Darul Najjah, Rumah Victory, Rumah Hope, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Mary and Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Home of Peace Kuala Lumpur. 

And this year, SHOOK! And Sentidos brings you wide choices for this upcoming Christmas.  For those who are looking for some great buffets, remember to visit this year Magical Christmas Night Dinner Buffet with more than 50 varieties of signature dishes.

 

Starts your meal here with  the roast turkey and prime rib with Yorkshire pudding and the lobster risotto.

Not just that, they will be also serving you with their freshly shucked oysters, fresh sushi and sashimi, pizza and lasagna.

Ends your meal here with the sweet delicacies such as the Christmas stollen and an assortment of festive pastries, cookies and desserts. The buffet will be served on 24 December from 7pm to 10.30pm at MYR218 nett per person.

Shook! will also be hosting a New Year’s Eve Big Balloon Drop Dinner Buffet and Celebratory Toast from 7pm to 11pm on 31 December. Priced at MYR298 nett per person, the buffet will offer a variety of pasta, lasagna, appraisers and marinated vegetables from the Italian counter; roasted prime rib and salmon en croûte from the carving station; fresh seafood and teppanyaki from the Japanese counter; dim sum and steamboat from the Chinese counter as well as desserts, fruits, assorted ice cream and much more. A New Year’s Eve Glitter Party with Live Band & DJ is set to take place from 10pm till late to further enliven the evening.


SENTIDOS GASTROBAR – THE LATIN GRILL



Sentidos Gastrobar – The Latin Grill will be presenting an array of signature Latin dishes with vibrant flavours to usher in the year-end celebrations. The New Year’s Eve Latin Fiesta Dinner Buffet with Big Balloon Drop features tantalising dishes such as oven-baked herb mushrooms, patatas bravas, roasted garlic chilli chicken, garlic prawns, scallops in shells, roast beef, quesadilla with cheese and chicken, apple crumble cake and a variety of homemade sweets amongst others. Priced at MYR158 nett per person, the dinner buffet is available on 31 December from 7pm to 11pm.

The New Year’s Day Tapas Buffet at The Table will delight diners with delicious gastronomic delights including roast lamb leg, mini sea bass fillets, Mexican meatballs, patatas bravas, herb roasted tomato soup, Mediterranean pasta salad, smoked salmon as well as desserts such as crème caramel, warm chocolate pudding, churros and more. The buffet at the table will be served from 12pm to 3pm on 1 January 2019 at MYR118 nett per person.
