Panasonic Cubie Oven (model NU-SC100W) makes MAGIC to my cooking!

July 23, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

In today’s busy world; we often tied up with many work and cooking can be so tedius and time consuming. And this time, Panasonic Malaysia which often surprises us many of their home appliances had made another possibility to Malaysian who want to prepare a homey home cook dish easily.

Known as Panasonic Cubie Oven (model NU-SC100W), this steam convection oven is the latest addition to the line-up of extensive kitchen appliances from the Panasonic Cooking product category. Taken from the word cubical, Cubie Oven is small and compact in design, allowing it the flexibility to be fitted into any kitchen space.

And this machines is small (351 mm high, 355 mm wide and 455 mm deep) but the functions will definitely not disappoint you for sure.

This little machine does magic as they are so versatile where they offers various cooking methods that focuses on steam, healthy fry, bake, roast and fermentation; and the quick steam and hot air circulation technology allows for up to 21 pre-programmed menus.

For those who are looking on their manual way of cooking, they do have too. You can have 3 modes of steaming according to the ingredients that you will be cooking.
Steam Low at 80 ° C  which is used for steaming vegetables
Steam Mid at 100° C  which is used for chicken and seafood
Steam High at 120° C  which is used for whole fish and frozen food

And all this are carefully formulated making sure that the cooking is at the right temperature and right texture. Most importantly, to maintain the right nutrients level and flavours as well.

I had also impressed with the Convection function where with the fan at the back of the oven, you can actually roast and bake and the air covers the food for an even cooking. It is even easier to cook as where with the air circulating, it will make sure you will get an even cooking.

Fermentation Setting is for bakers who love to ferment their dough for baking or even now you can ferment your own yogurt at the right temperature.

Air Fry function is something which I am always looking for especially a mother with kids at home. You can air fry your chicken, making fried item more crispy but using less oil. Make your own banana fritters, fried chicken and many more. Assured your self with a healthy living.

Not just making great food they also brings you with the steam convection function where now I can make my own Hokkaido cake at home. With the hot air and steam, assured yourself of making a fluffy, moist inside and perfectly baked exterior.

Overall, I could say the oven did a good job in the things I need to use for especially for those who are having space constraint. I am impressed with the oven itself for smaller families. It is said to be able to fit a whole fish or 1kg roast chicken.

If you are looking for a bigger families, not much budget constraint and space issues, you can look for another model which can occupy more needs as well- The Panasonic 32L Steam Microwave Convection Oven (NN-CS894BMTQ).

But overall, I can conclude that this oven serve me well for a family of 4 as I can easily place this oven in my small kitchen without taking much space. It is such a great kitchen helper and a magic to my family as I can steam few small portion dishes in one goal for our dinner.
We will share more about the recipes in link here.

The Panasonic Cubie Oven NU-SC100W retails at RM 1,199 and you can checkout them in major electrical shops like AEON, Harvey Norman, Sen Heng, TBM and many more.
