EXQUISITE COMFORT AMID THE GRASSLANDS : WANDA VISTA HOHHOT GRAND OPENING, 29TH NOVEMBER 2015

December 19, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Wanda Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce the grand opening of Wanda Vista Hohhot this November 29. The hotel marks the 83rd opening of the group, and the 45th hotel owned and managed by Wanda Hotels & Resorts as well as the 12th hotel to come under the Wanda Vista brand.

As the capital and cultural heart of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Hohhot offers a host of attractions from traditional Mongolian wrestling and dancing performances to the magnificent Dazhao temples and the famous Zhaojun Tomb. Outstanding natural landscapes include the boundless Gegentala grassland and the Gobi vistas of Noisy Sand Bay.

Mr. Roland U. Obermeier, the General Manager of Wanda Vista Hohhot and a native of Germany, sees a bright future for the city. “We believe that the opening of the hotel will greatly assist urban economic development and the tourism industry in Hohhot, as well as creating more employment opportunities. In addition, more and more domestic and international meetings, conferences, exhibitions and fairs will choose Hohhot as a destination.”

Ideally located in Saihan Central Business District and adjacent to Wanda Plaza, Wanda Vista Hohhot offers easy access to the city’s famous attractions and commercial areas. The hotel is only five to ten minutes away from Hohhot East Railway Station and a fifteen minute drive from Baita International Airport (HET).

Wanda Vista Hohhot is the first Wanda Vista branded hotel to open in Inner Mongolia, and staying true to the brand it blends the local decorative and cultural traditions with contemporary interior design. 313 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites offer a unique oriental chic ambience, many of them complemented by panoramic views of Daqing Mountain. Rooms start at a generous 45 square meters in size, rising up to 220 square meters for the prestigious Presidential Suite. All rooms feature the signature “Bed of Vista” and “Dream Catcher” amenities, as well as complimentary high speed internet access. For visitor comfort, all rooms and suites are equipped with PM 2.5 air filtration as part of the centralized climate control features of the hotel. As the first Wanda Vista hotel in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Wanda Vista Hohhot will impart to the region the brand’s cornerstone feature of “personalized hospitality from the heart”.

A range of first-rate dining options includes Café Vista for international gourmet cuisine both buffet style and a-la-carte. West Gate Specialty Restaurant offers a tempting blend of Chinese and Western style cuisine and a range of varieties of hot pot. ZHEN Chinese Restaurant serves an elegant mix of Cantonese and Mongolian signature dishes such as tender beef with black pepper and mint, and shredded inner Mongolian lamb wraps. The Lobby Lounge is the perfect venue for casual business liaisons, afternoon tea, or a range of quality wines, cocktails and snacks.

For business meetings and events, the hotel boasts a wide-range of top quality solutions, including the Grand Ballroom, a majestic pillar-free space over 1,344 square meters in size and boasting a 103 square meter state-of-the-art LED screen. Four more events venues take the total events floor space up to 2,500 square meters, and include the services of Wanda Vista’s Event and Meeting Directors, dedicated to tailoring each stage of the event planning and execution to guests’ exacting specifications.

After a busy day of meeting or sightseeing, guests can rejuvenate body and mind via a range of five-star leisure facilities at the hotel including a 20-meter indoor heated swimming pool and a fully-equipped fitness studio equipped with jacuzzi and sauna facilities.
