LOBSTER AND BUBBLES POP-UP MENU RETURNS TO MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG

July 2, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Café Causette, located on the mezzanine of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong offers contemporary all-day dining with something for everyone. Under the direction of chef de cuisine, Marcus Chant, the team will reintroduce a pop-up menu featuring everything Lobster and Bubbles this summer. Considered by local residents to feature the best Asian and international dishes in Hong Kong, guests at Café Causette can choose from the new à la carte pop-up menu available daily for dinner, as well as a select lunch menu Monday to Friday, beginning 1 July until 31 August, 2015.

This pop-up menu features Boston lobster prepared in a variety of ways including lobster taco, Sichuan lobster with saffron or classic lobster cake. For those with a larger appetite, guests can also enjoy a Grand Plateau filled with lobsters, oysters, shrimps, mussels and snow crab, as well as Surf and Turf for two featuring lobster grilled with herb butter, chateaubriand red wine sauce, and big chips. The lobster menu would be complete without a selection of bubbles including Billecart-Salmon “Brut Rosé”, 2011 Schramsberg “Blanc de Blancs Brut”, and 2006 Emmanuel Brochet “Le Mont Benoit” amongst the choices to perfectly complement each dish. To finish off this delectable experience, guests can choose from four new desserts or enjoy all the desserts with a half bottle of Billecart-Salmon “Brut” for only HKD 948.

With its lively show kitchens, framed in traditional Chinese red lacquer, Café Causette is a popular restaurant suitable for many occasions, from celebrations to family get-togethers, or just catching up with old friends. Appetisers and dishes from the Lobster and Bubbles menu start from HKD 168, the two-course set menu paired with a glass of bubbles is HKD 428 and the three-course set menu paired with a glass of bubbles is HKD 498. Prices are subject to 10% service charge. For reservations, please call +852 2825 4005 or email [email protected].
