GARTIEN FOR MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL

July 26, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

It’s time for mooncake festival again and this year- Gartien comes with its unique packaging which is slightly different from the past. The back to 60s mooncake boxes with the old greeny color packaging is just so beautiful to welcome the upcoming mooncake festival.

Gartien’s 小田佳园 Pineapple cakes is not a new thing in the market where Gartien’s 小田佳园 Pineapple cakes is famous for its pineapple cake which is handmade. Whenever I think of having pineapple cake ; there is no need to fly all the way to Taiwan for one and I can get them fresh over here in Gartien with just a few clicks to purchase them online for sourveniers or even for my own personal dining.

Gartien used to be at Lorong Macalister and now they have moved to 380 Penang Road (next to Kek Seng Cafe). So, it is easily spotted now where Gartien is!

Each box consists of 10 pineapple cakes, packed individually in purple colour Japanese washi paper to preserve its freshness.Let’s unwrapped the beautiful wrapping of Gartien where you can find the golden ingot encasing the savory sweet pineapple fillings. You can find the strings of pineapple in the where it is really good. The flavours indeed blend well with our taste buds and you will get the taste of the moist pineapple in it. Nice!
