“Thai Hou Sek Ignites The Hub SS2 with Late-Night Mookata & Bold Thai Flavours”

November 24, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

The heart of SS2 just got a fiery new addition! The all-new Thai Hou Sek @ The Hub SS2 is turning up the heat with irresistible dishes, authentic Thai-Chinese flavours, and a late-night Mookata experience that’s made for sharing.

Famed for its creative fusion of Thai street flavours with bold local twists, Thai Hou Sek continues to be a playground for the taste buds. Now, its latest outlet at The Hub SS2 combines the same signature flair with a stylish, modern setting that welcomes diners for everything from casual lunches to after-dark feasts.

MUST-TRY SIGNATURES THAT BRING THE HEAT

🔥 White Tom Kha Seafood (RM35.90)

A rich and aromatic coconut soup layered with fragrant galangal, lemongrass, and kaffir lime — a perfect harmony of creamy and tangy, brimming with prawns, squid, and mushrooms.

Claypot Fu Yu Chicken (RM21.90)

Tender chicken braised in fermented bean curd, coated in umami depth with soft heat and sweet peas — pure comfort in a pot.

Thai Pork Leg Kao Ka Moo (RM37.90)

Slow-cooked to perfection, this Thai classic melts in your mouth with soy, cinnamon, and star anise notes. A signature for a reason.

 Golden Fried Seabass (RM61.90)

Crispy, golden, and served with a mango-spicy chili-lime sauce — each bite is a burst of tangy-sweet perfection.

Mapo Tofu with Minced Pork (RM23.90)

A fiery marriage of silken tofu, minced pork, and Thai chili bean paste — comfort with a spicy kick that begs for extra rice.

🍲 MOOKATA — A FIRST AT SS2 (11 PM – 12 AM)

Only available at Thai Hou Sek SS2, the new Mookata Mix Set (RM56.90 for 2 pax) is a feast you can grill and simmer your way.

Comes loaded with tiger prawns, pork shoulder, pork belly, seafood tofu, Japanese egg, beancurd, crab sticks, and more — all bubbling in your choice of soup base.
