Dyson PencilVac: The Slim Powerhouse That Redefines Cleaning

October 5, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Dyson has always been a pioneer in turning household chores into a showcase of design and technology. Now, with the PencilVac, unveiled in May 2025, the brand raises the bar again — creating the world’s slimmest, smartest vacuum that proves less really can be more.

Sleek Like a Pencil, Fierce Like a Jet Engine

At just 38mm wide — slimmer than a lipstick tube and as sleek as a pencil — the PencilVac is Dyson’s most elegant cleaning tool yet.

Beneath its impossibly slender body lies the new Hyperdymium 140k motor, spinning at an extraordinary 140,000 rpm — that’s aircraft-level power packed into a silhouette the size of a 2 Euro coin.

It’s a bold fusion of design and engineering that promises to transform how we clean our homes.

No More Tangles, No More Hassle

The PencilVac’s secret weapon is its ingenious Fluffycones™ detangling system.

Four soft, conical brush bars gather hair and threads into neat little balls, eject them, and re-suction them — all without clogging or stopping mid-clean.

It’s the end of wrestling with tangled hair in vacuum rollers. For households with pets or long-haired family members, this is a cleaning revolution.

Clean Every Corner. Glide Past Every Obstacle.

Traditional vacuums often struggle to reach tight spaces or leave dirt trapped along edges. Dyson solves this with a dual drive motor system positioned at the centre of the brush bars.

This not only enables true edge-to-edge cleaning but also frees the brush bars to swivel gracefully, allowing the PencilVac to glide around chair legs, under tables, and into corners that other vacuums can’t reach.

Tiny Bin, Giant Capacity

Looks can be deceiving. The PencilVac’s linear dust separation system compresses debris so efficiently that its compact 0.08L bin holds up to five times more than expected.

When it’s time to empty, Dyson’s syringe-style ejector makes it as simple as pushing a plunger — mess-free and hygienic.

Smarter Cleaning with a Green Glow

Dyson adds intelligence to elegance with twin green laser beams that reveal hidden dust on floors.

Connected to the MyDyson app, the PencilVac gives live performance data, battery health updates, and even personalised cleaning tips.

A Vision of the Future, Here Today

The Dyson PencilVac isn’t just a vacuum cleaner. It’s an engineering marvel that brings power, agility, and effortless style to everyday cleaning.

For urban homes, pet lovers, and design-conscious minimalists, the PencilVac is proof that next-gen innovation can live in the slimmest of forms — and still deliver the boldest results.
