“All About Mangoes”: The Anam Cam Ranh Unveils Tropical Afternoon Tea Experience

August 22, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

In a tribute to Cam Ranh’s famously juicy mangos, The Anam Cam Ranh’s fine dining restaurant has launched a remarkable afternoon tea for two replete with mango scones served with homemade mango jam and clotted cream.

With an open kitchen, grand piano, and courtyard with a canopy of established gardens, The Colonial Restaurant, which specialises in modern European and French dishes with Vietnamese nuances, serves “Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony” from 3-5pm daily.

Poached tiger prawns with mango salsa, tobiko and brioche roll, Iberico Bellota slice with charred mango and whole grain mustard dressing served with sourdough toast, and salmon croquettes with crème fraîche and mango chutney are among the afternoon tea’s savouries.

In addition to the mango scones, Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony’s sweets include macaron with mango cream cheese filling, mango sago pudding with coconut panna cotta and passion fruit jelly, pavlova with diced mango and basil mango compote, mango, lemon and almond tart, and mango jelly with Pandan leaves.

The savouries and sweets are accompanied by a Dammann tea selection of Earl Grey, English breakfast, jasmine, peppermint and camomile. Local green tea is also available.

The Anam Group’s group general manager Laurent Myter said Khanh Hoa province’s bountiful mango plantations had inspired the new afternoon tea experience.

“In Vietnam, mangoes symbolize fertility, a promising future and prosperity, and the quality of the variety of mangos grown in our province Khanh Hoa can’t be beat,” he said. “Khanh Hoa’s fertile soil and warm and tropical weather, affording abundant sunshine and the right amount of rainfall, result in the region’s famous juicy mangos that are reimagined in our imaginative mango-themed afternoon tea.”

Afternoon Tea Mango Symphony is priced at 460,000 VND nett for two people.

For further information or to make a booking at The Anam Cam Ranh and The Colonial, visit www.theanam.com, email [email protected], or telephone +84 258 398 9499.
