EXPERIENCE GALAU GLOBAL AT ALOFT KUALA LUMPUR SENTRAL THIS WORLD MUSIC DAY A One-Night-Only Live @ Aloft Music Showcase

June 9, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

This World Music Day, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral invites guests to Galau Global. This one-night-only Live@Aloft showcase brings together raw emotion, rising local talent, and a celebration of heartfelt music. As part of the Marriott Bonvoy travel program, the hotel continues reimagining guest experiences through bold and culturally driven events.

On 28 June 2025, the evening promises a soulful journey through heartbreak, healing, and love — all in true galau style. Music lovers will be treated to performances by Didie Shazry, Yad, Maria Effendi, and Mukhriz Syah, with a genre-spanning lineup that moves from Indonesian ballads and Malay sendu anthems to English, Korean, Spanish, and Japanese heartbreak hits.

To set the mood, the hotel’s event space will be transformed with immersive, galau-themed experiences from a “Wall of Closure” for those final unsent messages, to photo corners and a complimentary booth to commemorate your most dramatic feels. Guests also stand a chance to win TEVA vouchers worth up to RM2,000.

The first 30 Marriott Bonvoy members to arrive will receive a special goodie bag as a thank-you for being part of the experience. On-site registration will also be available for guests looking to join the program and enjoy future perks.

According to Michael Grimmer, General Manager of Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, Galau Global reflects the hotel’s commitment to creating meaningful, culturally driven guest experiences. “This event is a heartfelt celebration of music’s unique ability to connect and heal,” he said. “Through this signature Aloft experience, we aim to unite people through shared emotions while supporting and spotlighting local musical talent.”
